pc always holds the advantage.

graphics, controls, gameplay, multiplayer

the only thing consoles have going for them are exclusive games, price, and motion controls.

and i do own an xbox and ps3 along with my PC.

Console games cost more than PC games, and the PC also has exclusives such as the Total War series (which would be impossible to play on a console).

However, I don't believe PC has any sort of advantage in controls or gameplay, and I'd say consoles certainly have the better multiplayer due to how well regulated it is (cheating is impossible without being banned and having your console bricked).

I only use my PC for strategy games.

Steam is just as good as PSN or XBL.
From what i hear, hacking and cheating are a huge problem for the older COD games on XBL.

mouse and keys are far better for FPS and stratagy games.

most new PC games are 60$ now.

I own Bioshock for the PC. Hated the keyboard + mouse, so I plugged in my 360 controller in to the PC and switched to Xbox controls.

I just prefer a controller to a mouse and keyboard. For me, it's more comfortable and I'm more accurate.

I don't know about the Ps3, but if you get caught cheating on Xbox via any kind of modification, you get banned from Xbox live and your console is bricked (becomes unusable).

I own CoD 2 & 3 for the 360. No one plays multiplayer on those games, so I wouldn't know if cheating is possible.

I also have Team Fortress 2 for the 360. It's awful. Cheating is widespread because the game is so glitched. Valve never bothered releasing any on the Orange Box for the Xbox.

if you can use them well, mouse and keys are better.
people who use xbox controllers in FPS multiplayer are usually destroyed by players using PC controls. every console player i know admits this.

It's just what I prefer. I'm more accurate with a controller than I am with a keyboard + mouse. I grew up playing with the N64, then the Xbox, Ps2 and now the 360.

That's fine if you're more comfortable with a keyboard + mouse, but don't assume everyone is.

Give mouse and keyboard time, they are much better in terms of multiplayer. The only reason console players can even hit each other in xbla/psn is because they use hit scan on console.

That's true with some games like CoD. Not true for games like Halo.

Halo uses hit scan as well, minus the rocket launcher and weapons with ground aoe, but all bullet weapons use hitscan
