I'm not trying to hate, but i just don't understand how grown men can watch and play with a bunch of magical ponies that are targeted toward little girls and not only enjoy it but be proud and open about it. I get how it could be fun maybe but anyone can easily find something else to do that is more fun and definitely more mature.

We watch it because we find it to be entertaining. The key thing to remember is that what makes up entertainment is subjective. Much like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder. We all watch it for various reasons, most of which being a certain level of that which we find to be entertaining within the show itself and not on the girly exterior, that is to say, the name of the show and the history it has with "girly" aspects.

In order to try and understand why we like My Little Pony, one must look past the title and cover of this book and read the pages. You have probably been told this by every single brony you have asked, but the only way to understand the beauty, at least as we see it, within is to watch an episode or two for yourself and then judge the book for what it is. If you like it, then that's fantastic. Else, the best thing to do is to accept that we like it and that you like other things.

Well as long as you're being civil about it...

Its a show that wasn't written to entertain children but families. The writers made sure to keep the parents that would have to suffer through it in mind. This way they wouldn't have to suffer. Unlike a lot of kid shows now this one doesn't completely disregard the audiences intelligence. There's a lot of witty humor written in.

The characters are very fleshed out. Each with their own personalities and quarks. They're flawed, they have obstacles to overcome. Its done in a way you can really care about the characters. Even find a bit of yourself in them as I and I'm sure many others have.

The voice acting is great. Easily some of the best I've heard from a cartoon show since Teen Titans and Avatar the Last Airbender. And with excellent animation to match.

The stories range from okay to very good. I can't think of a single episode I didn't enjoy at least some aspect of.

While it may be about colorful ponies having magical adventures I think its still a mature enough show where adults can enjoy it too as long as they don't have it in their head that girly = bad. Even still the show's not really that girly. There's a couple episodes that kinda leak estrogen but for the most part the girliest part of it is the opening song.

I'd say give it a look if you haven't already and decide for yourself. You'll either like it or you won't. I'd recommend starting from season 2 episode 1 and 2 (its a 2 parter) because not a lot of people liked the first 2 episodes and the first 2 of the 2nd season are a fan favorite.

I can give you all the reasons in the world why I liked it but ultimately you have to decide for yourself. You can find the episodes on netflix. If you dont have that, you can try youtube but Hasbro has been taking a lot of them down recently. Hopefully you found this helpful.

Mysteriousbrony has them all on dailymotion in 720p, and all the two parters are connected. Here's the link.

There's an easy answer. Not everyone lets their life be ruled by other people's opinions. If someone doesn't like it, good for them, but I'm not gonna stop doing what I please because they don't enjoy it. And being ashamed or secretive of what we enjoy is the same as quitting it because of someone else's opinion. You have every right to dislike them just as we have every right to like them.

Now take my thumb, because you are one of the rare non-bronies to show up, and not only say something intelligent, and worth our time, but also to post it under your username honestly.

I used to play that game... I was at the highest level until one day it randomly decided to bump me back to level one...
I kind of miss it, but at the same time I really don't want to have to start from scratch.

I was at level fifty something, but it wouldn't update to I had to uninstall to get the Canterlot update. After a couple weeks I'm back to forty, but it pissed me off quite a bit at first.

Ouch, still, I wish something like that had happened to me instead of losing everything. I wasted money and time on that stupid game, and having everything wiped kind of made me realize that spending money on games like that is a horrible idea...

Yup, in this day of virtual data with no option to back it up, you're better off saving your money for something tangible.
