Wish she would just follow Obama's lead and just stay out of the limelight. While he disagrees with Trump's policies, Obama only gives his opinion when asked by reporters and I do not feel like he is sticking his nose too much back into public policy.

Listened to an interview of Hillary Clinton last week on NPR and the interviewer said something like, "your party seems to be distancing themselves away from you and gravitating towards people like Bernie Sanders, do you think it's time to hang it up and realize your party is moving to other options?" Hillary replied along the lines of "I have the experience and credentials and I have no plans of going anywhere." While the first half of the interview was bearable, the last half came across as controlling and cringey.

Hey I'm not defending Trump I think he's **** too but that doesn't really change my point. People voted for him because they felt he would address the things they actually care about, which our government has been failing to do for years. He won because people;e didn't want another politician. Whether he lives up to those promises and expectations or not doesn't detract from the powerful feelings behind his victory.

You're right he would've lost against someone like Bernie Sanders but again that doesn't detract from the reasons why the people who supported him voted for him. They felt disenfranchised, especially in places like middle America which in all honesty have been ignored in favor of the interests of the coastal cities. I don't think people outside the U.S really understand just how apathetic and disconnected people in this country feel when it comes to their government. I didn't vote for either Hillary or Trump but I understand and sympathize more with Trump supporters than I do Hillary ones. Their feelings and concerns are ones I share, at the very least when it comes to problems in our Government and things that are actual issues, even if I don't agree with them when it comes to the solutions for those issues.
