Is he that far off-base? Someone honestly tell me differently. No, not everyone on welfare abuses it. Yes, some people do, badly, and don't deserve it.

I can't speak much, I didn't hear/read the comments, but I was speaking more to the assumption of welfare abuse. It's a serious problem... a capitalist democracy with 40-************************* of our country receiving welfare (DAFUQ?), and somewhere ball-parking in the 30-percent of the country not paying taxes....what the actual ****????

He was saying the same thing as you, but he didn't realize that 47% was also made up of mostly senior citizens, veterans, and handicapped people who are legitimately unable to support themselves.

interesting... I'd have to do some research but that sounds far too inflated to be true...inner city government housing districts would be my first red flag.
