Well, this should be entertaining. Russia tends to get **** done. Usually in the most inhumane way possible that makes people bitch at them for about a decade or two.

Are you mentally retarded? They did invade Afghanistan and it led to the dissolution of the Soviet Union you incompetent **** .

People like you are scum for liking murder.

Russia has never gotten **** done. I love the fact he posted a few pictures on the internet and the neck beards think he's some sort of God. Think I'm ************ ? Look at their history: Bitch to the mongols, purges under the Czars, purgers under commies, terrorists of all shapes and sizes who hate communism, and the complete failure of the USSR. Yeah Russia gets **** done lemme tell ya.

Reminds me of a story that my science teacher told us about 'Russia's not ******* about' ( not sure if true, but it is bonkers enough to be true )

Apparently, a certain terrorist organisation ( muslim rather radical one ) once kidnapped a russian politican, hearing this, the head of the state ordered that he wants the son of the leader of this organisation with 24 hours.

He got him in 16, and once they were done with him, they send him back home, with a note to release the politican. The son was tortured, scalped, and mostly, castrated. ( not just balls, the entire package )

The politican was soon released without a scratch.

Again, not sure if true. But, it does have the typical MOTHER RUSSIA DONT **** ABOUT air around it. Thanks for reading.

Frankly, it seems like something the KGB would have done back in the day. Seems like something it'd still do.

True. The most fun to watch, too.

Indiscriminate killing and over-aggressive responses are usually what lead to a nation's downfall. The Soviets thought that a place called 'The Graveyard of Empires' would be an awesome place to invade. Lets look at how that turned out... Well the USSR doesn't exist anymore. The United States started a war in the middle-east, a trillions dollars later and they're not closer to ending terrorism, the wars have racked up a body count of over 300 000 and everyone just wants it to end. Only now you've pissed of the hornets nest of extremists. This attack likely would have never happened if Russia didn't go around blowing people up without a second thought.
#18 to #12 - adrenalinbbq (01/02/2014) [-]
I think you're reading too many internets. When we started our crusade against terrorism, Iraq was an enemy country. Now it's been liberated, and there is significantly less terrorism there. In Afganistan, terrorists have to keep both eyes to the sky every time they go outside, because if they're doing something we don't like, we bomb the **** out of them with a missile that could blow out the candle of your ******* birthday cake, then hit you straight in the face, leaving that cake one one piece.
Through that desperation, they've gone to starting rumors about our military and how they're targeting civilians. If we weren't scaring the **** out of them, they'd be doing more than throwing rocks over the internet.

Don't you dare say our military isn't doing a good thing.
#20 to #18 - orangepikmin (01/02/2014) [-]
This comment just gave me patriotism.
#96 to #93 - adrenalinbbq (01/02/2014) [-]
This is actually very informative. I didn't know it would be quite this bad. My point stands, though. The military did it's job and left. What happened after that was up to them.
User avatar #97 to #96 - carnivora (01/02/2014) [-]
Yes but i think that the way they have done it sometimes wasnt very correct
( Use of depleted uranium in Fallujah )

Also the precision missiles you was talking about - do you mean drone missiles ?
#98 to #97 - adrenalinbbq (01/02/2014) [-]
Depleted uranium is used because it's heavy, hard, and...is depleted. There's no radiation that comes from them, so the munitions are harmless after impact.
AGM-112 missiles.
#102 to #99 - adrenalinbbq (01/02/2014) [-]
It's harmless. We wouldn't use ammunition that's radioactive without shielding, and we don't use shielding when carrying them around.
User avatar #83 to #18 - jukuku (01/02/2014) [-]
"Now it's been liberated"

You're insane. Why don'y you ask the Iraqi people how they enjoyed having their freedom delivered in 2000lbs bombs. The reality is that nobody has a right to make that choice for someone else, the choice of death or 'freedom'. Iraq's infrastructure has been obliterated, the poverty rate has more than doubled since the invasions. Sure, terrorists have to worry about being bombed but so do innocent kids who have been blown up on many occasions often because of shear apathy on part of the operators and their superiors. (see 'Signature Strikes') The idea that drones strikes are precise and do not have civilian casualties is a lie. They don't know who they're targeting half the damn time.

Don't dare say the military isn't doing a good thing? Is occupying a country and getting kids lives ripped away from them a good thing? I don't blame the soldiers, I feel sorry for them, I wish they never had to endure what they've been sent into but people like you, I ******* HATE people like you. Pieces of **** who back wars that get Americans, Canadians, English, Scots, Australians and every other human being who has died for those ******* ******** wars. Supporting a war where our ******* neighbors die isn't supporting the troops you stupid **** . The pentagon has their hand so far up your ass, they're working your mouth like a sock puppet .
#95 to #83 - adrenalinbbq (01/02/2014) [-]
Look up the definition of liberation.
You'll find that overthrowing a dictator and instilling a working democratic government where they vote for their leader counts pretty well in the U.S.'s favor in that regard.
User avatar #100 to #95 - jukuku (01/02/2014) [-]
"instilling a working democratic government"

Both Afghanistan and Iraq have massively corrupt governments and they're usually heavily influenced by American interests. They're puppet states.

User avatar #66 to #64 - hadden (01/02/2014) [-]
Bogus statement. 'Superpowers' is plural so if you have some image of superpowers competition in your tiny overheated head you'd have to admit that either one of superpowers equals in its power value to bunch of arab guerilla either your perspective of...powering something a bit overstimated. And since when europe considered as something thrashy or outdated?

1930-1942 going back and forth between allies and axis, 1945-1992 pawns of USA or USSR, 1992-2000s USA only, modern: China vs. US. You're nobodies. Shame really, such a great and cultured history, of many diverse nations, now you squabble over nanny state privileges and wonder why your economies fail.

5000? when?
Also, Russia has the resources it needs. If Russia ***** someone up it's because they want to send a message. If the US tries to **** someone up they lose more soldiers than the enemy and usually try to acquire more oil... But the main difference is that Russia usually doesn't fail miserably.
#101 to #73 - nitsuan (01/02/2014) [-]
Read the rest of the conversation and you would see why I said 5000, of course what anon meant was probably 3000. Also Oil? Please, we waste more resources on that middle eastern crap hole then we could ever hope to gain. Lets not even forgot that most of the US's oil comes from the US, Canada, and South America yet we don't have military operations over there because gaining oil has nothing to do with it. Russia doesn't **** up? Afghanistan never happened, right? What about the Winter War? The US military is doing fine in the Middle East, but we place objectives that will never happen because terrorism is not a conventional war. We could simply level the country like it was a war, but then we take out everyone else who is in it.

However, I don't know how Russia's neighbors, nor the rest of the world, would take it if the Russian military rolled over some terrorists during the olympics.
