Probably people won't care because this is a joke and stuff but this is terribly inaccurate. In Spain if you say "¡Viva España!" (or "Hail Spain") or even if you have a Spanish flag or wear your country's colors, people will think you're a nationalist fascist pig (unless a football match where Spanish football team participates is being played or going to be played soon, in that case it's perfectly acceptable and people will even cheer you).

It's offensive to wave or wear the American flag in America though, and borderline illegal and against many dress codes for how offensive it is.
User avatar #30 to #26 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
i have never in my 20 years as an american hear anything about the flag being offensive. closest thing i know of is burning a flag that is soiled
User avatar #47 to #30 - ilovemyguns (08/29/2013) [-]
I've been asked to take flags down from my house, turn American flag t-shirts inside out, and take flags off my car on a college campus because others might find it offensive.
User avatar #56 to #47 - nervaaurelius (08/29/2013) [-]
Maybe it's cause I'm from Texas but It's common to see american flag shirts and stuff here.
User avatar #48 to #47 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
wow, the people around you are cocks. the shirt i can see, my high school didnt allow any form of printing on our shirts(only picked on a select few kids for it though), but taking a flag down? seriously? who in gods name gets offended over the american flag in the U.S.A.?
User avatar #49 to #48 - ilovemyguns (08/29/2013) [-]
Think of my reaction when they did it.
User avatar #50 to #49 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
bet you were pissed as hell bro. i would be
User avatar #51 to #50 - ilovemyguns (08/29/2013) [-]
Now imagine if I went to Russia, or Germany, or maybe even Cuba, and told them to take their flag down because I find it offensive. Imagine their reactions. I'd probably get strung up by a rope.
User avatar #52 to #51 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
though not the most patriotic person in the world, i would be one of those people. you just cant with a right mind do some **** like that, its ******* asinine. who asked you to take it down? a home owners association?
User avatar #53 to #52 - ilovemyguns (08/29/2013) [-]
For shirt inside out, it was some college professor or administrator or something I never met in my life while walking to my first class of the day. For flags off my car, it was another college administrator who said others might find it offensive. For flag down from my house, a neighbor called the police about me hanging offensive material, though I still don't know which neighbor did it. So the police came, looked at the American flag, and knocked on my door asking me to take it down because others in the neighborhood might find it offensive. When I told them I refuse, they said there isn't anything they can do about it and went on with their business. Probably pissed that my neighbor was wasting their time. I don't have an HOA, never will ever again that **** is too much.
User avatar #54 to #53 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
man, just feel better that the neighbor probably only didnt make themselves known because they knew they would be a piece of **** in the eyes of everyone else. also, i agree. **** HOA's
User avatar #55 to #54 - kevlar (08/29/2013) [-]
and if you find out who it was, make sure everyone feels the same way you do about the situation

I was asked, in college, to turn an American flag shirt inside out because others might find it offensive. Yes, yes it is, there are stories like this all over the US.

I literally couldn't stop laughing for half an hour. I had to type, "I am not having a seizure" on Word so my roommate knew I was ok.

I have seen Blitzkrieg in Planetside 2. Tanks and aircraft everywhere, taking base after base. It felt really bad retreating again and again and still getting asskicked.

Useless Italy is useless.
#45 to #6 - anon (08/29/2013) [-]
italyanon here. we where not just useless and dumb (we even lose against greece!), we also did start all the mess: Hitler, Franco, Pinochet and all other fascist/nazist movement where inspired by Mussolini. that kind of political party was the best answer to comunist movement all around europe (and south america later). too bad there are still a lot of fascist movement in Italy, and right winged party often inspire them to Mussolini. so we dont even have the shame german have for Hitler

No you idiot, from doing these kind of things in class!
eg: "Next period we start "the bus".
Boy how we annoyed teachers with that thing.

......how does WWII give you nostalga? Are you a WWII Vet? If not then you cannot have nostalga as you never experienced it......Most WWII vets don't look back on WWII as the fond memory of nostalgia.....for them its usually a horrible memory they have to deal with.......

yeah, thats what you get for allying with the nation that was one of your biggest enemies in the previous war
even General von Hindenburg, the greatest leader of his day, said never trust the italians
#12 to #11 - anon (08/29/2013) [-]
Except Musalini and Hitler were very close. The Italians just bitched out once the Brits and Americans began to invade. Not even the mainland, they surrendered at ******* Sicily
User avatar #31 to #12 - konradkurze (08/29/2013) [-]
the truth is, when the nazi party was just coming into real power, the italians were being complete dicks and refusing to even deal with germany through ministers.....its only well after germany proved its power that italy dropped the ******** and allied with them

yet at the same time italy were being dicks, the british were practically begging to ally with germany

seriously.....hitler chose to ally with italian bitches instead of the british who held ********* of colonial power
User avatar #13 to #12 - FearsomeDraken (08/29/2013) [-]
I don't know if I would say bitched out. Italy was ****** before even entering the war. They were behind the rest of Europe in terms of modernization and technology. And the whole country was in debt. Then of course Mussolini jumped into the war to early because he was to proud to back down. In the Pact of Steel they weren't even supposed to start war until 43...and Hitler attacked Poland in 39.
User avatar #23 to #11 - ivoryhammer (08/29/2013) [-]
