I love how disappointed the German keeper looked when Brazil got their one goal. He looked really mad that they didn't get a flawless win.

Also the cameraman kept focusing on crying Brazilian children, **** was hilarious.

It's not really about the flawless win, it's the fact that he didn't prevent that goal that made him mad. That's why he's so good, he tries extremly hard no matter the circumstances. In his eyes, if the enemy can score a goal, he failed his job.

To elaborate, goalkeepers try to keep "clean sheets". The number of goals they concede or block is actually recorded and plays a part in how good they are gauged as. Their worth, or whether they can win awards. The fact that the entire german defence just let the goal in because they didn't care about it pissed him off because he's the only one who gets affected by that mark on his record.

I actually found that pretty ****** up. I don't think they showed even one german fan celebrating. Instead, focusing on the tragedy and the humiliation.

When I went to Germany, our tour guide said that there was sort of a thing about showing German pride, like they were very restrained about it, because of the connotations due to their history. It might not have been so much as wanting to show the Brazilians in agony but as it was to prevent people from thinking back to Hitler and **** from WWII if they saw people the German fans celebrating.
