Surely Israel is using the "holocaust-card" quite too often. Even if antisemitism was and is a great problem in Europe (mostly to do with the huge immigration rate from muslim countries), then it doesn't help anyone in the long run to dodge political obstacles today with some horrific events in the past.

However, one must remember some stuff about the UN... f.ex. the fact that if we take North Korea, Nigeria, China, Rwanda etc., combine all the resolutions they got together against them, it is still only a fraction of what Israel has recieved from the UN. No matter what you think about Israel, then this is not fair. At all. Digging a bit into history, one will find the reason: the unstopable islam-communist voting block created in the 1970'ies as a way to fight back/attack the combined western power block. So to say UN resolutions = truth ... well, that's just not true.

In the cartoon we as well see a "concerned" KSA. That's a load of BS. If we look at the statistics which show the ammount of money given to the Palestinians, the KSA, Qatar etc fails HARD compared to the USA and EU, also taking BNP into concederation. They only use the palestinians as a strategic puppet.

I do not say Israel is innocent. I do not support settlement building, nor all the roadblocks in the Westbank. However I am in awe at how much Israel is inventing and how much the rest of the world has got benefits from these inventions. Also compared to it's neighbours, it is the closest we get to equality, freedom and stability in that region. Is it perfect? No. Does it have serious issues? Yes. But this cartoon, no matter how funny it is - is incorrect on many levels.

And no, I'm not jewish. Nor Israeli.

And how many of those UN resolutions censoring Israel has the US vetoed? Perhaps ALL of them? There are about 40 UNSC resolutions aimed at stopping the illegal activities that israel gets up to - stealing land is like the biggest thing you're not allowed to do but none of them go through because of the veto clause. So they keep breaking the rules knowing nothing will happen. Hence the worldwide BDS movement. Same as Apartheid Sth Africa, that state as it exists is on a clock.

Well, you prove my point about the UN.

Most land pre 1948 was bought by jews.. today, even if you are a palestinian land owner, there is death-penalty from the PA if he chose to sell it to a jew/israeli state.

But I think you speak about the 1967 borders Israel conquered in the Sixdaywar. Well. Huge problem there with the settlements, I agree, but would I really want a palestinian state there instead? As an Israeli? As a jew? As an arab? As a person concerned for escalation? The Judah hills is highground, primitive Qassm rockets could reach west jerusalem.. more advanced rockets could hit Tel Aviv and the Ben Gurion airport.

Polls have shown that if the palestinians got a Palestine on the westbank, number 1. they would vote for Hamas and 2. between 60-70% would like sharia law.

Ok, the Westbank is occupied according to most law-experts, but what wuld we ant isntead is the question I believe most people forget to ask

"Most land pre 1948 was bought by jews"
- absolute ******** .

There's no such thing as "conquering land". You can't gain land by conquest under international law. Occupying land is supposed to be temporary and building on occupied land is a huge no-no. The jews are thumbing their nose at this basic law and should be booted from the UN for their blatant disregard for the general concept of following the rules they signed up for. It's broken with the US vetoing everything. If they didn't have the US allowing this to continue there would be threat of sanctions and the behaviour would stop, that's how it's meant to work. Instead they successfully lobby for sanctions on Iran for a nuclear weapons program that their own intelligence agency admits doesn't exist. You couldn't make this stuff up!

Well, I stand by my point. "Absolute BS" is no argument.

When it comes to the occupied territories however, I think you misunderstand me..

They conquered land, doesn't mean it is "conquers keep" under national law, so there I agree. Remember they did it in war time though. The hills is a highground, extremly important for attacking land below it aka Israel. So as I said, I think you miss the big issue... so what you want? A stop in settlement building? Ok, seems fair. A Palestinian state there? There we disagree. It's not that easy.

And you can say a lot of things about the Persian Nuclear program, including that Israel is using it s an argument (who wouldnt.. it politics). But lets not forget that Iran hates israel, want to get rid of them, isn't hiding they want to destroy them and support extremist powers who feels the same. Lets not forget that they are proud of this. Lets not forget that their nuclear reactors are build inside mountains for "peaceful agendas".

To say that Iran doesnt pose a treat at all is like saying that Iran is the only problem in the region. Both things are BS.

The whole "Iran wants to destroy Israel" ******** stems from a very badly translated speech by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, where he actually said something to the effect of "The middle east would be better off if Israel were gone."
#257 to #255 - vikdane (02/05/2014) [-]
Go to memritv if you know persian and search on his and the priest-council speaches and statements about Israel. Go and search which groups they support openly and what these groups goal is about.

And hey, "itsbendingtime, I don't say I want to destroy you, I just say from my heart that it would be better if you were gone".

#259 to #257 - itsbendingtime (02/05/2014) [-]
Massive difference between the two statements.

"I wish you had never been born."

"I am going to ******* kill you."
#262 to #259 - vikdane (02/05/2014) [-]
Not if you are a brainwashed religious, sharia-supporting, gay-hanging man who thinks you are the "chosen one" in shia islam, decendent directly from Ali. Not if you have made your intentions clear in many other situations (memritv) and support groups who openly admits they wants to destroy you. And surely not if you compare those two things.
#266 to #262 - itsbendingtime (02/05/2014) [-]
Kind of the like the brainwashed, religious Zionist Israeli government, who believe that they are God's chosen ones and that the goyim are their cattle to do what they want with, which is not threatening to destroy Palestine, but is actively ******* doing it.

You mean the seculare israeli state who has arab judges in high court and accepts arabs in the military? You mean the city (Tel Aviv) which has been voted "the best place for gays" by the worldwide gaymovement? You mean the country that seperates power into the 3 principles created after western values? You mean the country that post out inventions after inventions?

You spoke about "miss-translation" of a persian brainwashed persian president, yet you are talking about the typical misunderstanding of "goys" are "cadle". You have also seen me actually critizicing Israel in my posts, yet you have failed to do so with f.ex. Iran.. instead, you will launch attacks at Israel. Really not cool.
#264 to #262 - vikdane (02/05/2014) [-]
Spelling mistake.. not "compare those two things" but "add those two things"

Iran poses absolutely no military threat to israel. Everyone with half a brain knows the US wouldn't allow iran to attack israel. Yes it's politics but it's about power in the region, not some military threat. The threat of military engagement is hyped and encouraged by israeli right-wingers who've been lobbying for decades for the US to attack Iran.

Iran and israel used to be business partners. Post 1979. Israel has become way too big for it's boots thinking it should be the regional hegimon. Typical jews really.

Your statement about jews owning most of Palestine before 1948 is ridiculous, I don't have to prove a negative. Some land was acquired legitemately, yes. Most? Not a chance.
#247 to #244 - vikdane (02/05/2014) [-]
Iran works together with most shia-extremists... it was back in the days with the Shar that Israel worked together with them, including the USA. With the hornest hype happening in Iraq right now (mostly shias there), combined with the fact that the Syrian regime and Hezbolla gets support from the Islamic militants, all who swears to the destruction of Israel - it would take less than a "half brain" to figure out that it would be more than easy to smuggle WMDs to these areas. So a direct attack? No. An indirect attack? Very possible.

With your "typical jews" comment you prove yourself to be quite the bigot. You also ignore my questions yet again. Take care now.

User avatar #250 to #247 - danmanjonesnz (02/05/2014) [-]
So it's not typical of jews to be greedy bastards?

Well put. I agree, and to add to that I think Israel should not have been established where it is today, but that doesn't change the fact it is there and won't be going anywhere. I also think a big problem is the amount of influence Israel has in the U.S. gov't. I know that borders into the realm of conspiracy but it concerns me as I don't know/can't find much reliable info on it.

How about when israel attacked Gaza and the Congress passed a bill in support of what they were doing even though if it was any other country the US would at least frown upon it. The vote on the bill was almost unanimous. I forget the details.

Yeah AIPAC. It's not really soid proof unless you start talking about exactly what they do. I tried to give 1 solid piece of evidence.
