Fahrenheit is more useful for the human condition- the range of livable temperatures is far greater than in Celsius. Additionally, the difference between freezing and boiling points in Fahrenheit is 180, as opposed to 100 in Celsius, so temperature can be more accurately described without decimals.

Weather also greatly benefits from Fahrenheit, in that the 0 to 100 degrees are not only livable and able to be experienced, but are also pretty much the extent of consistent temperature. Celsius has, what, -10 to 30? **** off mate.

Eh, probably because it would be an enormous undertaking in trying to get everyone to use Celsius.

Same reason why we don't switch to metric, I guess.

Best thing to do is just to teach both for a few generations, then switch.

We actually were going to convert to metric at one point, but of course as luck would have it, the ship carrying the standardized units that would've been used to calibrate everything from France was attacked by pirates, and the ship was either sunk or the units were thrown overboard. That's why we're still using Imperial.

Yes that's exactly my point is that 30 f degrees is less than 30c degrees and America never even attempts to used other peoples systems in countryball so he should be underadjusting regardless

yes he took 30 degrees and thought the angle is in CELSIUS and therefore converted it to Fahrenheit and moved the telescope downwards by 86 degrees instead of supposed 30 breaking it, WHAT is it that you don`t understand about this?
