Unlimited Source of Electricity. Dem low electricity bills.. Well, keeping a bunch of electric pokemon fed and sheltered might be difficult. On the other hand, farmers could earn so much more money by dishing out so much PIKACHU Pokemon electricity

Well, keeping a bunch of electric pokemon fed and sheltered might be difficult. On the other hand, farmers could earn so much more money by dishing out so much very cheap electricity.

Hmm... You'd think that there would be some sort of business in the Pokemon world where they would rent, say, your Pikachu for a few hours to generate electricity for a neighborhood or something.

They already do that with Voltorbs in the Power Plants. Apparently a self-destructing red and white ball generates more power than an electric mouse.

One would think that Magnemite and Magneton would be more efficient, eh?

Then hell, let's rent out Blastoises. I actually thought R/S/E was really clever, having a moving company using Machokes to move stuff (they could make Machamps so easy, but whatever). Imagine UHaul, where, for an extra 10 bucks, you can rent a team of Machokes to help you move.

It doesn't even end there! Think about an economy in which a single Meowth can generate endless amounts of currency! Where a team of Diglett and Dugtrio can plow an entire field in hours-- or at least loosen it up for others to do the actual plowing. And don't even get me started on the fact that sentient, intelligent, and canonically sapient animals, often smarter than humans, are being used as slave labor!

Wouldn't this cause a short circuit?
