All the comments say "Oh Nintendo could do this now but they won't" but if they did everyone would flip their **** and say "It sucks!" and "Bring back to old style!"

that's still ******** though, a lot of retro games have evolved into modern standards: Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy etc', and they're still praised in their newer versions. I'm sure Pokemon would've been as well

The 3d wouldn't affect the gameplay, but as long as the gameplay doesn't change they'd be fine. Like with Final Fantasy, I personally hate the new battle interface where it isn't played in turns, rather it's fast-paced. Some things need to stay the same and I think Pokemon is one of them

But eventually you do need to replace the computer because it's been outdated.
