10 years? I can't wait 10 ******* years, there's no reason in the world for it not to look like that now. Nintendo doesn't realize if they made this a skyrim-like mmo, they would have to hire an army to stop people from drowning them in their money

A poke mmo would crash and burn. Get to level 100 with a team. Then what? Level more? MMOs that just tell you to start again with a new class and endgame don't survive.

There couldn't be a gear treadmill. Content would be extremely limited without constantly designing new pokemon. The gameplay would suffer in an MMO environment. Turn based would need to be instanced, non turn based wouldn't work well while limited to 4 moves.

Get your heads out of your asses and realise that pokemon would suck donkey dick as an mmo.

Not only that, Nintendo already stated that they would only do such thing as a last resort. They clearly know that as soon as people get bored with the mmo, they would stop pokémon altogether.

Exactly. The MMO would keep peoples attention no longer than the handheld games. Possibly less since it isn't portable. And there is nothing to keep people around for more than a month or 2.
