That would be an AR-15 my friend not an AUG.
User avatar #72 to #61 - explore (04/21/2013) [-]
Sorry about that, but I did say 'correct me if I'm', so thank you for not assuming I'm a retard.
User avatar #78 to #72 - toughactintinactin (04/21/2013) [-]
It's no trouble. If you see that kind of forked front sight it's a fairly safe assumption that it's an American weapon. It's the standard sight on the M16, M4, AR-15, and the M14 to name a few. It is pretty easy to swap them out though, so it's not for certain.

Personally I detest the look of them, I much prefer ones like these.
User avatar #89 to #79 - flemsdfer ONLINE (04/22/2013) [-]
Oh god. I've never been able to use these grasshopper looking things to aim.
User avatar #91 to #89 - explore (04/22/2013) [-]
I find them much more accurate for medium range firing.
User avatar #80 to #79 - toughactintinactin (04/21/2013) [-]
Isn't the an old Soviet style sight? Here's where I say correct me if i'm wrong aha.
User avatar #82 to #80 - explore (04/21/2013) [-]
I think this image is from an AEK 971.
User avatar #83 to #82 - toughactintinactin (04/21/2013) [-]
Knew it was some kind of AK variant, the sight just screams Russia to me
User avatar #84 to #83 - explore (04/21/2013) [-]
I know what you mean, I think Russians have the better iron sights.
#63 to #60 - improbablyyourdad (04/21/2013) [-]
It says www.AR-15.us, RIGHT THERE.

Also, I disagree, I love those sights.

Depends on what type of AUG, the A1 has a built in 1.5x scope while the A2 and the A3 have rails, those sights are only compatible on AR 15's or M4's because they have the frontal sight and the removable back sight/carrying handle, I don't like them as the take up a lot of peripheral view.

I love it that they put hot rod wheels on those carts.
User avatar #52 to #48 - volatilis (04/21/2013) [-]
They are just whitewall tires. Probably the best quality of tire they can get.
#56 to #52 - drturkleton (04/21/2013) [-]
Well you get where I'm going, right?
User avatar #88 to #56 - volatilis (04/21/2013) [-]
Kind of, they aren't exactly hot rod wheels. I had an old new yorker that had white walls lol. A lot of old luxury cars had white walls and a lot of normal tires actually have a white wall side. Could just be the side they put out.
#43 - thisisspartah ONLINE (04/21/2013) [-]
maybe its just a really big grenade launcher?
User avatar #37 - CaptainWaffles (04/21/2013) [-]
Well, at least it's a step-up from a bayonet...
User avatar #39 to #37 - erotictentacle (04/21/2013) [-]
but.... bayonets are awesome... They use 'em in the Swiss military too. Granted, mostly for spear-throwing, but... it's something.
User avatar #90 to #39 - CaptainWaffles (04/22/2013) [-]
Bayonets are awesome, but completely useless on a crew served weapon platform.

User avatar #87 to #86 - erotictentacle (04/21/2013) [-]
not exactly spear throwing, they throw the rifles with bayonets like spears when the Lt. aint watching.

While you're probably right, it further highlights how ignorant they are of what kind of war they'd be fighting if they got into it with the US
User avatar #75 to #58 - samjamfan (04/21/2013) [-]
the U.S aren't freaking war gods. and we would never nuke them. too many international repercussions with fallout
#69 to #58 - spamzor (04/21/2013) [-]
Actually, they'd be giving cover to themselves while fleeing, so this is perfect for the kind of fightin they'll be doing if they go to war with just about any country.
