You wander around Nokia with a Nokia in your hand and Nokia rubber boots on your feet looking for your car with Nokia tyres. Eventually you give up and tell yourself "I have no Kia". You will eventually wander off to Nokia Paperi -paper factory where a magical sable (Finn. Soopeli, Nokinäätä, Nokia) convinces you to join the Nokia Revival.

A comprehensive list of Nokia words used in this paragraph.
Nokia - a city in Finland
Nokia - mobile phone
Nokia - car tyre brand
Nokia - rubber boot brand
Nokia Paperi - paper factory
Nokia - Finnish nickname for sable
Nokia Revival - Christian movement

Hello, you've reached Nokia tech support...right, phone's damaged? Just the screen? Yeah, your phone's main components are made out of strong enough materials to handle the explosion of a low-yield nuclear device. If you had serious damage, I'm under contract to alert NATO. Now, if you want to fix the cracks, you can either send it in, or slit your wrists and let your blood pool in the cracks. It'll fix right up in less then an hour...Well, I should hope you wouldn't bleed to death...fine, fine, cow blood works too...You're lucky, Apple products require the blood of a redheaded virgin to even get to the main menu.

I've always loved Windows phones and their amazing design, but Android's flexibility and functionality is something I'm afraid of losing. I'm considering upgrading from my S2 which has served me well long enough, but is the Windows phone all that great? I'm asking because I haven't had a chance to own and thoroughly test one for everyday use.
User avatar #151 to #32 - anonomoz ONLINE (04/06/2013) [-]
if this is lumia, I'd like to know, I heard the screen could easily cracked and if the cost of the replace is like half of the phone, could you tell me your experience using it? I'd like to have mine too
User avatar #155 to #151 - dayasalion (04/06/2013) [-]
i was actually surprised my phone received a scratch on the screen. To be fair it was a pretty hard drop and it hit the corner of a blunt metal post, and all it left was a scratch, not a crack, but a scratch. you can only see it if held in direct sunlight. and i would bet money that if it was an iphone it would've destroyed the screen.

I got a windows phone not long ago, and I mostly like it. What sets it back is the poor app market. Most of the apps I had for the iphone either aren't there, or are really lacking (like the spotify and skype apps). I also think the settings are a bit behind. You should be able to customize the phone a lot more than you can today

this is my phone (not my actual phone but same model)
-ive put this thing threw hell the couple years ive had it
-fell out of my pocket (about 10 times) while biking about 30kmph onto solid concrete
-been droped in puddles and been rained on
-its been tramping/camping with me lots of times
-ive beaten it up to the point its almost stopped working then beaten it back until its working again, i have to hit the back cover to stay on
-its been stolen/lost a bit to so i ended up carving my name into the side of it
-and when i got it i was told it was one of the most **** phones on the market and they break easily, but it was the best i could afford at the time

just thought i would share
