'Murica. I went to go buy some 4th of July supplies. After the total button was hit on the cash register, a bald eagle flew across the room, perched himself on

I went to go buy some 4th of July supplies. After the total button was hit on the cash register, a bald eagle flew across the room, perched himself on a display and nodded to me. "Uncle Sam would be proud," the eagle said to me. My chest began filling with pride as seemingly out of nowhere, the United States Marine Corps marching band appeared playing the Star-Spangled Banner. I began hearing the voices of my forefathers whispering to me the teachings that built my country. I pulled out my credit card and promptly paid for my merchandise all while reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

While the joke is funny (thanks WolfRider!) I can't help but be jealous of your tax amount, OP.
I pay 7 cents
While it doesn't seem like much more, that extra 2 cents adds up quick as ****
