Despite being phoneless, Mr Howard decided to stay on at the concert anyway.
My mates thaught I was crazy. It was pretty weird, I must admit. I had no idea
what to do with my hands. And everything seemed really large and vivid. It was
almost as if I was actually there".

As I've found most official videos are banned in Germany, we have to watch live videos or covers :/

User avatar #41 to #40 - pepemex (12/11/2013) [-]
Only on those fancy phones with Internet access
User avatar #42 to #41 - ninjahitman (12/11/2013) [-]
So most modern phones?
User avatar #43 to #42 - pepemex (12/11/2013) [-]
I don't know if "most", but mine doesn't even have colors.
#114 to #25 - anon (12/14/2013) [-]
but the thing was that he wanted to find the song he was looking for and not a bunch of covers you dumb ****
#14 to #6 - anon (12/11/2013) [-]
Then you go ahead and buy the ******* album.
User avatar #17 to #14 - Kingsteveooo (12/11/2013) [-]
Maybe if the album was worth it. When Albums now only have 1 maybe 2 good songs at best on them.. why would i waste my money on the on that?

I have no problem buying an old album, where every song was a good one.

I don't bite the 99 cents **** . If you are charging that rate to listen to your song when the majority of it isn't even actual musicianship, I'm going to pirate it with a smile.
User avatar #81 to #75 - spceinvdr (12/11/2013) [-]
600 plus songs pirated and counting

YO HO YO HO A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!

User avatar #66 to #28 - unncommon (12/11/2013) [-]

lol **** I've never had any of your guys's problems
User avatar #3 - commontroll (12/11/2013) [-]
It really does piss me off on how many people record concerts now. Seriously, who the hell wants to watch your ****** recording of a show they didn't care enough about to go to?
User avatar #104 to #3 - infamoustrapper (12/11/2013) [-]
I like watching videos of concerts I've been to for nostalgia purposes or just so I don't forget them
User avatar #106 to #3 - Durp (12/11/2013) [-]
most of the time the concert I want to go to is halfway around the world from me. So yeah, I rely on fancams (unless they're absolutely horrid) for that.
User avatar #4 to #3 - misfitxcreepx (12/11/2013) [-]
I must say, There are a few bands that don't come through where I live very often, or anywhere close enough to justify driving to see. It is nice to be able to look up videos of their other live shows to hold me off until they do pass through
User avatar #111 to #4 - commontroll (12/12/2013) [-]
However, what are the odds that every single person that records it will have people like you watch it?
User avatar #8 to #3 - admiralen ONLINE (12/11/2013) [-]
i think most people do it to show family and friends though
User avatar #9 to #8 - basilbrush (12/11/2013) [-]
"who the hell wants to watch your ****** recording of a show they didn't care enough about to go to?"
Family and friends are included in this.
User avatar #13 to #9 - admiralen ONLINE (12/11/2013) [-]
im pretty sure a lot of family and friends act differently than yours do
User avatar #19 to #13 - Kingsteveooo (12/11/2013) [-]
sure, they might watch it, but that doesn't mean they care. They are being nice, by doing something they don't want to do. Save them the troubles.
User avatar #20 to #19 - admiralen ONLINE (12/11/2013) [-]
>implying some people dont enjoy watching things and spending time with their family
User avatar #15 to #3 - paulohd (12/11/2013) [-]
I record a few videos for myself. I don't post them online, I just watch them whenever I had a ****** day and remember how great it was to see my favorite bands live. It's a great way to cheer yourself up.
User avatar #18 to #15 - daorien (12/11/2013) [-]
I think people just became lazier and blunter, they just don't seem to talk that much anymore, instead of describing some event in their own words and feelings they just shove a picture or a recording in your face and go "look how much fun i had". I personaly don't take my phone to concerts, because i want to live that experience not look at it throug camera lense.

I get people who take few pictures , one or two videos for memories. My philosophy on the matter is that if I can't remember it it wasn't worth it and if I forget it anyway then I would forget I took pictures and/or videos either

Buying an expensive ticket just to film the whole concert with your phone, then going home uploading the videos on to youtube to get ************** videos with 300 views each

I went to a Hoodie Allen concert and after one of his songs was finished he said "All those phone screens out there used to be lighters. What happened?"
User avatar #73 to #38 - bomberbib (12/11/2013) [-]
I think thats partially because less people smoke and so don't have any reason to carry a lighter around....
User avatar #79 to #73 - cdsams (12/11/2013) [-]
I would carry a lighter around just because I'm an anarchist who lights **** on fire.
