Pans labyrinth. Only in Spanish, but there are English subtitles. It's a good watch.

El Laberinto del Fauno, literally The Faun's Labrynth or "Pan's Labrynth" in English is where this comes from. It truly is an odd movie. Some parts of it are very realistic, or rather something you would find in a realistic genre work. However, occasionally the main character enters into a magical world.

With that being said, I also can't really find the audience for this. There's a TON of war, blood, scary **** (see picture), and swearing yet the story seems (intentionally) underdeveloped as if to make it easier for a child to understand.

Hmmph. I would recommend it though. The pale man (the guy in the picture) is a small small part of the movie, only in one scene, but it's a good watch anyway.

Pans Labyrinth is some ****** up **** . I'm sad I lost the DVD, I've been wanting to re-watch it for a while now.
