-Hundreds of Tons of Radioactive Water Leaking into the Ocean Daily.
-Fukushima now in state of emergency, leaking 300-400 tons of radioactive water into the ocean daily:
Workers at the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant have told the ABC that contaminated water has most likely been seeping into the sea since the disaster two-and-a-half years ago.
-Japan's nuclear watchdog has described the leaks as a "state of emergency".
-Fukushima Workers Exposed to Radiation From Spray:
-The contamination is the latest complication to arise as part of the cleanup of the Dai-Ichi plant, which suffered meltdowns as a result of the March 11, 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Government officials said last week that at least 300 tons of radiated water was flowing from the plant into the ocean each day.
-At the Very Least, Your Days of Eating Pacific Ocean Fish Are Over:
The heart-breaking news from Fukushima just keeps getting worse…a LOT worse…it is, quite simply, an out-of-control flow of death and destruction. TEPCO is finally admitting that radiation has been leaking to the Pacific Ocean all along. and it’s NOT over….
An MSNBC article in April of 2012 reported that seals and polar bears were found to have “external maladies” that consisted of fur loss and open sores, obvious signs of radiation burns from the Fukushima meltdown, despite the conclusions of the article.
Fukushima radiation appears to be causing an epidemic of dead and starving Sea Lions in California and the FDA has refused to test for radiation
Update: Huffington Post reports that the reactors used “dirty fuel,” a combination ofplutonium and uranium (MOX), which means we can never return to this place again. This comes from a Russian nuclear physicist who is an expert on the kinds of gasses being released at Fukushima.
.Almost a third more US West Coast newborns may face thyroid problems after Fukushima nuclear disaster
Contaminated water from Fukushima reactors could double radioactivity levels of US coastal waters in 5 years — “We were surprised at how quickly the tracer spread”

-PS: Planting Cannabis eliminates nuclear radiation
Marijuana is one of the plants that has been proven to eliminate nuclear radiation and was used in cleaning Chernobyl similar to the sunflower plants. Thus for the recent nuclear disaster in Japan, cultivation of marijuana is a viable alternative since this plant absorbs the radiation. It is also viable to other places with regards on the laws of the states and the country that is going to be planted.

I work at a nuclear power plant on the north coast of califonia and so far the radiation that has hit the california coast is the same amount you would get in eating a banana over a one week.
