imagine... being stabbed by your own skull... all over your face

I can imagine it slightly, I have a disease, that if I remember it correctly. It causes all the muscles in my chest to swell up, including the ones around my ribs. This actually causes my ribs to stab my muscles as the swell. Rather that's exactly what happens or not, all I know is when it does happen it ******* hurts like hell.

If you look closely, you can see some spikes in the eye socket.

The top portion of that picture is rheumatoid arthritis. Interestingly enough, you can get it at any age. I'm 19 and it's beginning to set in.

Two options: let it slowly pull apart joints until surgery is the only thing left that will restore function...or get IV infusions of immune system-squashing drugs combined with low-dose chemo that hike up chances of death by cancer, opportunistic infection, or organ failure with each passing year (with the hope the damage will stop.)

Don't ever take your hands and feet and knees and motion for granted.

option 3:
Wait until prosthetics are at a stage where you can have swords in your arms.
Ask for them.
???
I asked for this. Become the Anti-Adam Jensen.

at least if he had one of those itches on his face that he couldnt find, his skull can scratch it for him.

I... I just want to take that skull and... and sand it down or something, so it surface can be smooth. Only then will these chills and despair and this itchy feeling go away....

I find this more intriguing than I find it morbid.
Either way, I would NOT want to be in this condition. EVER.
User avatar #184 to #178 - taintedangel (01/22/2013) [-]
Agreed. It's not morbid. It's fascinating to know what bone cancer (at least on the skull) looks like.
