I had another comic somewhere where he's a king, and he steps out on his castle balcony to survey his land, and realizes it's empty, which fits more, but this one is pretty suitable too.

Titans are considered deities. The name "Titan" was just a way to classified the children of Ouranos and Gaia. They were later overthrown by a newer generation of gods, The Olympians.

Titans are gods...they're just in the Titan class. The other gods were Olympians.

#93 to #7 - Rascal (03/19/2013) [-]
The Titans are actually gods too as many of the later greco-roman pantheon were Chronos and Rhea's children (Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Hades, and Demeter). Though we call them "Gods" they are technically referred as an "Olympian". Though technically that also means that Hekatonkheires and Cyclopeans are gods too as they are all children of Gaia and Uranus so make of that what you will.
#264 to #7 - Rascal (03/19/2013) [-]
