There has and has never been a communist regime on this earth. Different countries call themselves communists but arn't.

The reason communism can't exist in this world, is because it's a world made up of power struggle. The day people start caring about each other more than their station in the society, true communism will flower.

and human kind will go into decline

Do you think people like James Watt or Thomas Edison would spend their lives trying to invent stuff if there was no personal gain?

No, human evolution would stop

The world will be a better place, when we have old men who plant a tree, knowing he will to get the ccomfort of the shade it brings.

See, first thing you said allready points out whats wrong. I'm not a communist, but I AM very red. Anyway, I am not saying people shoulnd't gain recognition for what they did.

Communism means everyone is equal

If you give someone recognition of an achievement, that is personal reward and not communism

Oh, but you see, Communism is always tweaked a bit. But one of the things that alot of people think is true, which is wrong, is that here is no personal recognition.

If you contribute, you will get recognition for your work. It just dosen't give you the right to trample on other people.

Because living in a world of love, peace, and a reasonably humble outlook on social status means that personal gain just can't ******* happen.

No.

if you invent something in a communist state, you don't get anything more than the person who sits at home all day

Result = everyone sits at home all day

thats a problem in your thinking "personal" gain, things are to be invented for mutual gain

maybe you wouldn't, and that's sad, your an example of exactly whats wrong with the world today, if you don't come out on top and gain superiority as a result of your actions your not interested. why wouldn't you do something to better the life of yourself and everyone else, if everyone were happier you would in turn become happier as well, stop focusing on trying to be superior to others

Neither would Thomas Edison

He was a prolific businessman. A smart guy, but there's no way he done it for the general good

Neither would 99% of people. They would choose to spend their lives with their families and friends having a good time.

Being someone who can take steps forward in Physics for example, it takes you to dedicate your whole life to it. People don't do that for the general good

Jonas Salk disagrees with you. But that isn't my problem. I don't believe that communism necessarily entails productive people getting the same thing as the worst among us. You can have markets and trade, but its important that the collective act humanely and that funds get allocated for humanitarian purposes.

who could be bothered to trade if they don't get anything for it?

You are pre-supposing that communism does not work because the textbook definition applied would not allow market principles to flourish. That would be like me saying capitalism is *****, because '**** laissez faire'.

You can say that if you want. It's opinion, i can't point to you and say "look here is an example of a communist state and it has failed" because we've never seen a communist state

And you can't say vice versa, because we've never had a truly free market society

You can say capitalism is ***** lol, but you'd need to say why for it to be an effective argument. You would need to say what would be wrong with a free market

I say communism wouldn't work because it stifles evolution in society, no one wants to work when they don't get anything out of it.

Obviously, there are problems in getting to a capitalism state, but i think if we did then it would work, so we should try and get as close to it as possible. Getting as close to communism as possible would be rather dangerous

Not suprised that all this is coming from a "Glasgow Rangers" fan.
