Yo remember in Senior English class, you have to read those stupid complicated almost not even english poetry that are apparently very deep and emotional.... Thats rap... people love to just jump the bandwagon and hate on it but really its just poetry with slang...IMO Rappin about pussy money weed is as pointless as a poetry about the wind and grass... LIVE ABOVE THE IGNORANCE

Rap and hip hop are definitely poetry. Even if I absolutely hate one sub-genre there is not denying that fact. It's just like how there are different types of poetry.

With that being said I feel the problem that most people have with rap is that it is over saturated in the styles of one sub-genre (gangsta rap)

I think if there was more of a balance of say old school, gangsta rap, conscious, alternative, so on that less people would feel the need to bash a few mainstream, popular rappers like lil Wayne because most if not all of the genres are giving equal opportunity.

Pic somewhat related. It's my favorite artist Brother Ali

Probably going to sink with you here, but. I just feel like making a statement. This is in defense of you, Daisych, don't worry.

You have an opinion, that you said on the internet. Everyone's anonymous to everyone else, technically.
Everyone here is a ******* hypocrite. I am too. I'm not excluding myself from this oncoming rant.
Many of you, but not all, have a base set of rules, apparently. EVERYONE can have their own opinion! ... As long as it doesn't go against your own. Like Daisy here. She's just a person that likes lil' wayne, and is proud to admit it. She stands for her beliefs. And, it isn't me defending little wayne, or Daisy, but it's just about the broad message you send when you downvote someone elses' opinion. "Oh hey, my opinion is fact. Your opinion is wrong. Gtfo."
I say the same about most artists. Nickelback. Nicholas Cage, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Kanye, Lady Gaga. all of the controversial people. If you say you like them? NOPE. Everyone has to get ******* butthurt about someone elses' opinion on the goddamn internet, and can't even wrap your mind around personal likings.

TL;DR: Read it, you lazy ******* **** .
