hay guys, i have a question for you all. I've been thinking about getting a new champion but im not sure who to get. I've looked around and i like the look of nocturn/ ahri but the problem is that i normlay main support sona and i have no idea if I'll be nay good at either of them (considering in still kinda new to LOL) any advice for champions that would be good for my kind of skill level?

New to LoL and maining support? god give us many of you....
And yes you totally should play annie, when you get bored of her get veigar if you like mids. you should buy the cheap champs to learn roles because later on in ranked you may have to play any role at any time.

I didn't have many supports, so I bought Zilean.
One of the best decisions I've ever made in that game. Zilean is a goddamn beast when played right, and he's easy to learn.

For future reference, though, if you're interested in a champ, wait for it to come up as a free to play, and then test him/her out. It seriously sucks to spend a bunch of IP or RP on a champ and find out that you don't like them.

Seconded. Play Annie, especially if you usually main support.
All the other lanes except for Support require lots of cs, and last-hitting is an important part of that. Annie will teach you how to last-hit: focus on using her Q to kill minions. You'll either learn to last-hit, or she'll punish you by going out of mana.

If you are new to LoL i would recommend Annie if you are interested in a mid laner, her Q makes for easy last hitting as it refunds the mana cost when used to kill an enemy minion or champion. As for Nocturne, he's a pretty easy and highly effective jungler as he got a long range gap closer(ultimate) and a fear on top of that to screw anything over.

I play Nocturne all the time, and I must say he is easier to learn to play as on Twisted Treeline.

That's no surprise as it's a smaller ma,p and makes your ulti more effective because it's basically impossible to avoid that damn jump.

You can always refund champions up to 3 times, also play the free champions al lot to get to know them blind buying can be bad some times

How do you refund champions?
#9 to #8 - chronovi (03/23/2013) [-]
Go to the store and find the purchases tab on the left hand side of the screen (bottom left) find the champion/skin you want to get rid of and press the refund button to the right of there name. You can only refund a champion if you have refunded all there skins, and never refund a 450IP champion because you have 3 refund tokens for ever and you'll never get them back.

Oh wow , i never checked all the store tabs... i'm off to it, thanks mate!
