You could just wait till HoN 3.0 comes out (coming out on 1st). It's supposed to have a new system to integrate new players into the game. And unlike LoL it's actually free-to-play completely you don't need to buy any heroes/champions they're all pre-unlocked. It's also much more skill based and not borderline-retarded. I tried LoL and completely hated it after playing Dota 2 and HoN for years....it was waaaay to simplistic

<--mfw when people tell me LoL requires more skill.

Well lets see in the beginning there was a guy called ICEFROG he made DoTA 1 as a map on the original Warcraft 3. It soon become increasingly popular and developed a huge fanbase in the online gaming community. Soon after LoL was released in 2009 after hiring Icefrog as a consultant. Which explains why the Characters had similar abilities. Then in 2010 HoN was created with the purpose of being the exact same as DotA only with better graphics. Which explains why some of the early released heroes have abilities identical to the heroes in DotA. Afterwards the idea of DotA 2 was put in place and they hired Icefrog fulltime so HoN and LoL had to come up with their own heroes. And contrary to popular belief DotA 2 has actually copied a lot from HoN in terms of mechanics and gameplay. LoL is a lot more noob-friendly and dumbed down. HoN and DotA are almost identical although HoN has around 80% original heroes now which arent exact ports from DotA and in my opinion HoN is more faster and gank-based, instead of farm-based like DotA2 although DotA2 has some pretty epic sound effect reactions. Need to know any more?

You are matched with players around your level, so you will be with other noobs. :)

No he won't. 60%+ of anyone in the "Beginner" bracket is an experienced LoL player smurfing. It's sad really.

They should allow you to make a smurph account that is "linked" to your main so you don't interrupt newb games, and actually get a challenge
