Yasuo in 3v3 with no knock-ups on his team.

All my wat
User avatar #28 to #4 - veneficium (04/09/2014) [-]
Poppy's E counts, doesn't have to be knockup, displacements work too like a trundle pillar. Also Yasuo should be able to get his own knockup without the help of his teammates.

jarvan e q combo

didnt see that one
User avatar #6 to #4 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]

are you implying you need a champion with knockup in order to play yasuo?

are you even level 30?
User avatar #41 to #6 - pokemonnuzlocke (04/11/2014) [-]
All i'm saying is that usually with 3v3, teams have some sort of synergy. And yasuo isn't that strong with his q being the only knockup for his ult.

I was surprised that wukong or malphite or vi or anyone else wasn't on this yasuo's team considering they are strong in the twisted treeline meta.
User avatar #7 to #6 - icameheretotroll (04/09/2014) [-]
After the nerf he's pretty squishy with a small gapcloser (only works well in minion waves) so in high elos nobody will let you near them, you either need a Vi or naut
ensure a 100% knockup to kill the strongest in their team. or you can just get malphite but his ult is dodgable
User avatar #9 to #7 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]

malphite ult is not dodgeable how the **** do you miss a malphite ult he travels at the speed of ******* sound no human has that type of reaction time
User avatar #30 to #9 - veneficium (04/09/2014) [-]
Well, someone did in the EU LCS this split, can't remember which match was it but Elise used rappel to dodge. Needless to say, everyone was impressed but a little sad that Elise still died.
User avatar #32 to #30 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
But rappel is instant, single button press. With flash, or any other dodge, you have to move your mouse, then press button.
User avatar #34 to #32 - veneficium (04/09/2014) [-]
Well, all im trying to say that it is dodgeable, with great reflex.
User avatar #11 to #9 - icameheretotroll (04/09/2014) [-]
Well its not dodgable when its unexpected but when you see a malphite coming towards you, you're like oh **** and expect him to ult and flash away or use your champion mobility spell or whatever when he does
when you see a Vi or naut however and you get ulted, it doesn't matter what you do eventually you'll get knocked up
also, unless player isn't expecting it or his reflexes are retarded they can dodge
yasuo's tornado from afar which makes high elo games with yasuo less viable

on low elo games or on normals yasuo alone is alright, wouldnt recommend him in high elo rankeds without a good ult partner
User avatar #14 to #11 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
my god

what rank are you?

yasuo is pick or ban in plat right now, regardless of the circumstances. he's too good.
User avatar #18 to #14 - icameheretotroll (04/09/2014) [-]
They ban him cause the wombo combo of him and malphite, wukong, is deadly, not because he alone is all that strong
User avatar #20 to #18 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
answer the question

what rank are you?

I think its 3
Search for yourself
I'm on euw Gulban a

as if being in gold makes my arguments any less valid
User avatar #24 to #22 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
i expected silver or bronze

and no, to your previous comment, I see several yasuo picks without a knockup in the team. it's because all he has to do is knock up an adc himself, ult them, and instant kill them. granted, lots of champions can instant kill in the right circumstances, but yasuo can continue fighting after his overpowered ult due to the stupid armor pen. that's why he's overpowered. the range nerf did nothing cause you can still dash into range, and the shield is useless and pointless anyway so it doesnt factor at all into his usefulness
User avatar #10 to #9 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
Well **** , I guess I'm not human. Because I flash dodge malph ults all day.
User avatar #13 to #10 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
sure you do
User avatar #15 to #13 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
At this point I can't tell if you're just retarded or attempting some sort of fail troll.
User avatar #17 to #15 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
at this point i cant tell if you play against malphites who telegraph their ulti ridiculously badly or you're a lying sack of **** with a huge e-peen
User avatar #19 to #17 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
When you see a malph start his ult you have ~.5 seconds to get out of the way. Most skills have a .25-.5 second delay when you're not playing on LAN. So, I usually just stick to using the instant cast Flash. I'm not sure how this is surprising to you, considering you mentioned something about Plat. Being at least Plat I would assume you would know about simple things like this.
User avatar #21 to #19 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
being plat, I don't play against malphites who telegraph their ulti enough to give to .5 seconds of reaction time.
User avatar #23 to #21 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
It's like you don't know the travel time of a max range Malph ult+Internally set delay in Riot servers. How did you get carried to Plat?
#26 to #23 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
>max range malph ulti

oh god what rank are you
User avatar #27 to #26 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
Plat I, promos to D5. You?
#31 to #27 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
plat 5, and you're full o ****
User avatar #36 to #31 - tosado (04/09/2014) [-]
Yeah, I've been constipated for a while. How did you know?
User avatar #8 to #7 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]

His nerfs nerfed his useless shield that was horrible in the first place. It didn't make him any less squishy. He's a melee assassin, what do you expect?

And no, he does not need someone with a knockup to be useful, you have no idea what you're talking about
User avatar #12 to #8 - icameheretotroll (04/09/2014) [-]
Well basically I'm not a pro-player but I'm radical with yasuo, I've done two pentas with him before the nerf. I know he was overpowered and probably 80% of the players did the same and after the nerf they balanced him out by reducing his ult range and weakening his shield

on yasuo if you go even slightly tanky the champ loses his spark, he's EXTREMELY crit/attackspeed/damage item dependant and rightfully so, most yasuos are very very squishy and i'm not saying that he always needs a knockup champ but without one he isnt as good as most champions anymore
User avatar #16 to #12 - closothehomosexual (04/09/2014) [-]
stop mentioning the nerf, it changed nothing
