The title is drawn from the song "Breathlessly" from the Katawa Shoujo OST.
I really hope nobody got spoiled, I assumed you'd see it was Hanako and stop if you needed to.

Oh my god you guys are the best. Thanks so much for all the support, I feel a lot better about my poetic ability now. People who favorited and subscribed, you're awesome, I'll try to come up with some new stuff soon.

All in all, I'm glad you liked it!

oh my god, that was fantastic. There are no words for that poem, oh my god. I keep saying oh my god it's that great. I have poem for Emi's birthday but I will never produce something as great as that. You're wrong bro, the poem didn't need a single picture, the words brought the true emotion. This is so great, I'm in disbelief at how fantastic this poem. I can go on and on about it but TL;DR: Fantastic poem, I aspire to make a poem as great as this man. Great stuff. fukken saved bro. holy **** that was awesome

Like it? I ******* love it. Your poem gave me a boner, no homo. I'm an aspiring poet, I guess, and I want this poem in my poem folder which has stuff I'm working on but also poems I've printed or copied that I really like. I want your poem, dude, it's so good.

Some guy earlier in the comments sang it to "Call Me Maybe", don;t ask me, I don;t know how.

I'll try this out later, though, sounds funny.

Totally wasn't!

Damnit, every time I think I'm nearly ready to get over her, something like this drags me back in by the hair. It's been months sinced I finished the game, and I still feel wrong inside. Well done, good sir, this is an excellent poem.

Yeah, yeah, all I have is MS Paint Vista, didn't feel like using other software.

I tried my best, probably could've added some blue to the "gift" at the end.

Glad you liked it, though!

I honestly don't even like poetry all that much but this, there are no words to describe this masterpiece. But I will try, it was wonderful, amazing, I am honored that I was able to read it. For it is such a great work of art it would make Rin drool. Sir I thank you for this honor, amazing job!

User avatar #241 to #239 - anonymousattorney (03/11/2013) [-]
I have also never played it. I was assuming that, because your character apparently has heart troubles, that he'd die from a heart attack at the end.
User avatar #242 to #241 - craftyatom ONLINE (03/11/2013) [-]
There are multiple different endings, each with their own flair, one bad and one good for each of five possible relationships.
User avatar #245 to #242 - anonymousattorney (03/11/2013) [-]
So, sort of a Bioware-esque story progression, then?
User avatar #246 to #245 - craftyatom ONLINE (03/11/2013) [-]
Lol, I said more than 3 endings!
But seriously, it's not quite as diverse as some games, but that's because it replaces diverse choice with great storytelling and plotlines. It is, after all, classified as a visual novel; and a novel it is.
The progression happens in the same way though, you're given choices at certain intervals that dictate how the rest of the story will play out.
User avatar #247 to #246 - anonymousattorney (03/11/2013) [-]
So, more one of those choose-your-fate R.L. Stein books, only with romance instead of horror?
User avatar #248 to #247 - craftyatom ONLINE (03/11/2013) [-]
Sort of. The decisions aren't always complete branches though, sometimes they add up to a total that determines the outcome, so a bad decision can be counterbalanced, and sometimes they only add a little bit of story, then go back to the main line.

That's a good way of putting it though!
User avatar #249 to #248 - anonymousattorney (03/11/2013) [-]
So, it's more the story outline that Mass Effect 3 should have been, where multiple choices come up, each opening different paths further down the story's path, ending up with a large replayability value.
User avatar #250 to #249 - craftyatom ONLINE (03/11/2013) [-]
It's super-replayable until you finish all of the lines, then it's still replayable because you will play through your favorite character's line as much as you want, which is a lot.

But yeah, pretty much.
User avatar #244 to #239 - craftyatom ONLINE (03/11/2013) [-]
I highly recommend it, I'd finish your book first though :P
