wouldn't it rather be.
Ravenclaw - pick the lock (cuz theyr smurt)

Gryffindoor - finds the key (cause they would be brave enough to seek out or some **** **** if I care)

Slytherin - knocks it down (cause they're bad boy bad boys, what you gonna do?)

and Hufflepuff would retardedly knock on the door cause no one likes them.

Raven claw finds the key because they're logical

Slytherin pick the lock because they're sneaky

Gryffindoor kicks it down because they're brave and gallant

Hufflepuff is best described by Basicargentinian

Tumblr isn't just some site, it's like a collection of self made blogs, I could go to my dashboard and see nothing of the raids because the website doesn;;t work like that

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Harry Potter when they came out, and I didn't mind the movies, but why are people still so into them? Like, why do these different theories that offer absolutely no insight keep cropping up?

Wouldn't they use magick to burn the door down or, I don't know… USE THE SPELL DESIGNED TO OPEN ******* LOCKS?
User avatar #12 to #10 - xxkelevraxx (07/05/2014) [-]
Spell designed to open locks = Picking the lock

Burning it down = knocking it down
User avatar #14 to #12 - heartlessrobot (07/05/2014) [-]
Picking a lock implies the use of lock picks, knocking it down involves blunt force which probably could be achieved with a spell.
But knowing hogwarts, there's probably a dragon with 37 fire breathing winged dicks behind the door.
User avatar #17 to #14 - xxkelevraxx (07/05/2014) [-]
Picking a lock implies activating the internal mechanism to gain entry. It never says it needs to be with a traditional lock pick that we know. Using magic to unlock the door would be considered picking the lock.

Knocking it down does imply blunt force, but you have to broaden this definition as you're dealing with a force that is not known to our universe as a practical, existing method (magic). Burning it down should be considered knocking it down as you are destroying the door in one way or another. whether or not it's using blunt force and knocking if off it's hinges or incinerating, to me it could be considered one in the same as you're using force to gain entry.

Furthermore, I'm not even a fan of the series (crucify me if you want, idgaf) but mayne they're not even allowed to use magic at all and thus this is all null and void
