But how do we know it's him, it could be Nobel 6, or Miller or someone, we shall never know because all we see is Chief's eyes.

I think you're supposed to assume it, because Halsey it shows the kid in the tank and then Halsey's face, like it was a flashback or something, and Halsey knew John was a special Spartan. I don't know that's what I've always thought. I could be wrong.

Noble 6 had pretty much no connection to Halsey. She directed the Spartan II program while some ONI asshat named James Ackerson developed the Spartan III program to be cheaper but more effective than the Spartan II program. It turned out to be an almost absolute failure with 90% of the children dying on their first few missions. More children were used though and the Spartan IIs were still the best in the galaxy.

All the comments are talking about how difficult Halo 4 seems to be on Legendary Mode.

Am I the only one here who found it really easy? All you need is a Plasma Pistol and a precision weapon for most of the levels and you're set. The Knights would be 100 times more deadly if they 'didn't' die from headshots.

Watchers are easy as piss to take care of too if you get an accurate gun. I never had any real issues with them bringing Knights back to life because I always killed them first. The crawlers were also pretty easy.

If anything, the Hunters are what makes legendary Difficulty such a pain. They're much faster and have much larger attacks than in Reach and Halo 3.

All in all, I wish there was more balance to the campaign. Unlike previous games where all the enemies felt like a threat I only ever really had issues with the Binary Rifle Knights. The grunts in previous games were cannon fodder but they still felt like a threat every now and then when they caught you with some stickies or a Fuel Rod Cannon. The Jackals were just as easily dispatched this game as in Halo 3 and the Elites were laid to waste by the abundance of Plasma Pistols and Power Weapons.

It is a good first forray into the Halo franchise as far as the campaign is concerned for 343i, even if I disliked the hints that Cortana's going to come to life and possibly have a romance with the Chief... god almighty I hope that doesn't happen...

The problem is that ammo for headshot weapons is hard to come by. Knights would be easy to kill otherwise. Oh, and when I'm zoomed in on a scope, shooting one in the head to pop his shields and he teleports to RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, that scares the **** out of me every single time.

Well the trick is not to waste the ammo on the shields. You'll be infinitely better served with a Plasma Pistol as a secondary when fighting Knights. If you can't get one of those then your best bet is to be adaptable and use whatever weapons you can find.

On legendary I've stormed right through the Knights because I had a Storm Rifle and a Carbine. You can also get similar effects if you wear down their shields first, then Melee them, then pop them in the skull. All in all, Legendary's not really that hard at all once you know how to use all the guns in the game.

Oh yeah, I can't believe I forgot about the plasma pistol. I used that ALL the time in Reach. What I normally did was shoot the knight with a headshot weapon the whole time if he was far away, and if he was up close, I would empty the supressor into him and then melee him. Good advice, thanks bro.

No problem. A point worth noting as well is that in many of the later levels you won't get a chance to get any Plasma Pistols so you're going to want to mix things up. I suggest always carrying a Lightrifle for dealing with the crawlers and watchers and having your 2nd weapon changeable for your needs. Obviously you'll want to fill it with a Binary Rifle or an Incinirator Cannon if you can but if not you'll find that the surpressor works fine.

You'll never need the Boltshot if you conserve your ammo well enough. It does no damage and is never useful on Legendary because if the enemies are close enough to you to be in range of the shotgun blast then they're close enough to kill you. Stick with the Suppressor and Melee.

If you can, always close the gap and go for the Suppressor rather than the Lightrifle becuase you're definitely going to want to conserve the LR ammo for killing the Watchers.

In solo legendary the knights are so annoying and hard to kill without the right weapons, and then you have watchers...

It's hard enough on normal, where you kill a knight, turn around and you see a little ******* watcher bringing it back, and then just when you're about to kill it again, it gives it a hard light shield and waits for its health to regenerate.

Knights are the wimpiest enemies in the game. They warp around, making either spawning really ******* far away or right behind you, they spawn Watchers, which are ******* annoying AND respawn Knights after you kill them, AND give them an additional blast shield in heated combat. Knights get all the ****, and they act like they're super badass, but they're pussies. Crawlers are badass though.

Out of Prometheans, I'd say Watchers, just because they are so fast and take more than a couple shots to kill. Knights are strong, but really simple to kill. So long as you can get a good shot at their head, you can kill them really easily.
In the entire game, probably Hunters, because, well, they're Hunters.

I actuaI thought hunters were really easy to kill on Spartan ops, all you have to do is throw two plasmas, die, then throw another two and Bob's your uncle they're dead.

A got used to being able to just shoot them a couple times with the Magnum because of CE and Halo 2, because that's the fastest way to kill them, but suddenly on the Xbox 360 the magnum is a lot worse of a weapon and so Hunters became more complicated to kill for me.

In FEAR 3 me and my buddy were trying out the multiplayer options and there was a game mode with specters and so on the first round my friend was chosen and so he started to possess people, a few minutes into the game i saw him and shot him then he proceeded to run away and so i sliced my way through 20 of the AI to get to him to bash his face in. That day was a good day.
