Awhh it's the season of the Herpes Monkeys already? Maybe they just haven't reached me yet because I live in the middle of a 10-mile saw grass pond with Seminole Indians. It's like 60 degrees outside right now so they probably froze to death, I don't think that it's ever been this cold.

universal and busch gardens kick disney's ass
User avatar #54 to #16 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
Been to Busch and to disney world. No it does not.
User avatar #59 to #54 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
why? Ive been to all three many many times, I get free tickets from relatives who work there.
User avatar #64 to #59 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
Oh just noticed you do go there, maybe it's the fact that I've only been to the two parks twice in my life
User avatar #66 to #64 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
Nothing personal against your childhood,
I just like busch gardens because there are more thrill rides and shorter lines
plus they sell this kickass unlimited food wristband for 30 bucks
you can eat all the food you want from certain restauraunts around the park all day long.
User avatar #71 to #66 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
Well, this is true, but the rides aren't as spectacular.

The food band was a major plus when I went, but as you said you could only eat from certain places.

I think that personally, for a more adult experience, yes, Busch is where it's at.

But the second time I went to Disney World I took the cruise plus four days at the park and man, it's the best of both worlds. Expensive as **** though, but that's expected with the adults-only gourmet restaurant and spa and massive pools, plus the water coaster.
User avatar #75 to #71 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
oh, the cruises are amazing. The park is just old to me. Im a coaster freak, thats why I like busch gardens so much. Plus they have alot of animals and stuff. The park is pretty cool if its your first time there. Ive just done it all as far as theme parks, so im spoiled lol.
User avatar #77 to #75 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
Oh, I'm not a coaster freak. Maybe that's why we have such different tastes.

I road the biggest roller coaster in New England (Six flags, the dangerous one that killed a kid I think) and basically have never felt an urge to go again.
User avatar #79 to #77 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
nice. I just love the coasters at Busch Gardens. Like the egyptian one, six inverted loops and 3-4 corkscrews. Then theres that giant ass wooden one.
User avatar #190 to #79 - meganinja (01/09/2014) [-]
Aww I love that one. What's it called, the Kublah, or something?
User avatar #230 to #190 - spceinvdr (01/10/2014) [-]
**** I thought you meant the wooden one. IDK the name

Disney world is ******* epic man, ever been?

The games are state of the art and realistic, they were doing 3D and 4D movies there when I was 6 (2001) before they even came out, and everything is designed to make you feel like a little kid again. Ever seen a bugs life in 3D with realistic temperature, fog and scent effects?

They have this one place I think in Epsco or whatever it's called, completely dedicated to inventing new candies and letting you try YEARS before they even come out.

The safari has real animals in the most realistic setting possible, the castle is a piece of animatronic art, and the water and amusement parks? To die for.
User avatar #73 to #63 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
Plus Universal has all the Marvel comic based rides and stuff, like the Hulk coaster, doctor doom, they just redid the amazing spiderman ride, they have adventure Islands with Indiana jones, jurassic park, the simpsons ride, etc. Plus they just added that whole harry potter section. Im not a huge HP fan, but that **** is tight as **** . They sell wands and **** , theres 3 coasters and another ride, they sell butterbeer and all the wizard candies and **** too.
User avatar #76 to #73 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
I thought that there was a harry potter section in disney world? I'm not sure, didn't see it the second time I went, just the first.

I did not like the rides there as much as I liked the rides at disney world. Some of the stuff there is just futuristic and they're always looking for new ways to make their games the best around.

Course, you have to deal with the smell sometimes, but that's all.
User avatar #78 to #76 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
Nosiree, Harry Potter is in Universal, Adventure Island as a matter-of-fact. Oh I almost forgot the MIB ride, the mummy, and a few others over there along with all the NIckolodeon stuff. I love that **** . Universal is a bit dated as well, but secretly all the parks are. They just cant make new coasters and **** contantly, its too expensive to build and maintain. And then they have to have the space to put in in beforehand.
User avatar #84 to #78 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
I've forgotten if I ever got to universal, then. I can remember a Hermoine look alike contest. That's it though.

There was some wizard thing going on in 2001 probably the Halloween town movies, then.
User avatar #68 to #63 - spceinvdr (01/09/2014) [-]
Idk,are you talking about Disney WORLD or Disney LAND? because they are really different. I've just been there so many times ya know? Plus the lines are monstrous for everything, even the toilets. There are mostly the same rides that have been around for 40 or 50 years, and only a few new ones, which of course will have a long ass line all day long. I've been going there since I was like 3 man.
User avatar #74 to #68 - elcreepo (01/09/2014) [-]
World.

Land, to me, sucked. I went only once though.

The lines were long but if you didn't feel like waiting to go on rides, you could go to their new areas or to their shopping area, and there were a lot of places to go all throughout the park.

Lines were really all I didn't like about walt disney world, but that's why the second time I did the cruise. No line there. Just reservations for their restaurant and spa.
#132 to #16 - John Cena (01/09/2014) [-]
Universal? Yes. It isn't quite as overpriced as Disney is and it has a few more interesting things to do.
