he probably didn't turn into a woman, that would take years of surgery and most likely couldn't happen in between cuts. i bet what really happened is some extras switched places.

i played max payne at age 8, gta I-III at age 9, doom 1 and 2 at 11 SA, mortal kombat at ******* 7 years and you'll never see me in a fight or that ill couse one. And those games are just the start of what i played.

So do games make people violent? No, no they dont. Just becouse one idiot did something because of violent games, doesnt mean rest of us are the same

i played the godfather on PS3 (i think that was the system, my stepdad borrowed it from his brother) when i was 17. i got the cheats for ammo and health. after fully upgrading the shotgun i found a corner in an alley and set up a cop killing massacre. i got bored after 30-35 min and stood out in the open so they could have justice.

Whenever I play GTA, I never kill anyone who doesn't have to die. I'm a pussy, I know.

You have the wrong mindset. They all have to die.

I never intentionally kill innocents in that game, but if my reckless driving happens to cause an "accident" then, you know, what can I do?

too bad the US doesn't have some sort of rating system for video games. like to tell us if a game is meant for Everyone or for Mature audiences

Playing graphically violent videogames make me violent, just like whenever I play Super Mario Bros. I want to got jump on some turtles, or whenever I play pokemon I want to make my dogs fight, or whenever I play Harvest Moon I want to go be a farmer

its not the games fault for the child attacking someone, its the parents fault for alowing the child/themselves/the school... to blame the games so the parents get off with a "i guess our kid is messed up..." i say its time the parents get fined for buying the games for the children.

"momy momy i want this one (gta5)" > mom buys it for younger child > "thank you for choosing gamestop here is the game your recept and the ticket for buying a game for a minor.

wee need good old school parenting (pic related) because how many of you did what they said not to do again agter getting a spanking?

I had to do a whole research paper on this, and it basically adds up to this.

If you're worried about video games corrupting children and turning them into mass murderers, don't. They were already psychologically unstable before they were even beginning to play video games.
#120 - zaggystirdust (05/05/2013) [-]
the first video game I played as a child was M

had blood and body dismemberment

yet, even today, I'm still a bit squeamish when it comes to gore

The early 2000s called.

Maroon 5 was blaring in the background and people kept screaming WAZAAAAAAAP so I honestly couldn't make out a word it was saying, but I assume it was something to do with this post being utterly irrelevant and literally nobody caring anymore.

ON THE CONTRARY

Ever since the shooting at Newton, people have began to blame violent video games, again, and California has already started taking steps to try to ban them.
#78 to #71 - rodneyabc (05/05/2013) [-]
California attempted to enforce age restrictions, twice, and failed.

A couple of jackasses made comments blaming video games and got completely ignored by the mainstream media.

Jack Thompson is dead and he's never coming back.
#81 to #78 - teenytinyspider (05/05/2013) [-]
I was just pointing out why this image has popped up. Yeah, it's quite soon after the shooting at Newton, but there were a few news articles questioning about video games being the source of violence and even one person said that those who play video games have no say in whether or not it's the cause of violence, which caused an uproar.
User avatar #93 to #24 - kroople (05/05/2013) [-]
I'm sure at least one person cares....

stop saying literally
