That wasn't a spoiler. Its just when this guy is concerned, all characters are "When" and not "If" in regards to death.

All hail Joffery and his glorious reign may he live a long and full filling life. Joffery is a kind and just king.

As Good As It Gets

That's funny...

Catelyn - Jealous and unaccepting, vengeful and unreasonable as Lady Stoneheart
Sansa - useless
Arya - Absolute badass, but definitely masculine
Lysa - PSYCHOPATH
Shae - Disloyal whore (literally)
Daeny - Naive and lacks confidence, but goodhearted
Cersei - KILLITWITHFIRE
Lyanna - not enough is known about her, but she was cool enough that a war was started over her kidnapping
Brienne - GirlBeast, but a pretty cool character.
Melisandre - Terrifying manipulator devoted to a bloodthirsty god
Most of the Sand girls of House Martell - crazy people I would love to have on my side. Care for their old family members well, want the best for their people, unselfish...but willing to go to any length to get what they want.
Dothraki Women - Loyal and submissive (But I would be too if I saw a 14 year old girl emerge from flames unharmed), and strong fighters

I know I'm forgetting a few, but seriously...there's not much good to say about most of the women in this series. For the most part they're all out of their mi...I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE

Does anyone else think he looks like a sailor?

I think he looks like he should be out on the open seas hunting for Moby Dick

I heard they are renaming the whole series.

I love this... In so many sci-fi and fantasy stories, female characters are idealized. I love all the female characters in asoiaf (most of them I love to hate but, you know). Every character has their own flaws and agendas. I wish I could be a sand snake...

Ok, if you're afraid of spoilers, don't read the comments. It's that easy. I don't understand the people who are reading comments and then complaining about spoilers. What did you expect?

Step aside, Gabe Newell. There's a new fat, nerdy, troll on the block.

Game of Thrones is loosely based on The War of the Roses. One of the sides in TWOTR was Lancaster. In GoT there are the Lanisters, who live on Casterly Rock

I don't watch, or read, GoT. Could someone explain this to me?

In Game of Thrones, the trend is that every likable character is either killed or banished. If the character is morally appealing to the audience, odds are good that the character will be accused of treason (or something of the like) or will die a terrible death and will not be spoken of fondly.

Game of Thrones: don't get attached to any of the characters, they'll die eventually, only the miserable cows and scoundrels get to live long enough to enjoy incest.
There's also a lot of blood and sex.

Is there ever any fantasy in GoT? I watched the first few episodes and it was just boring. I wanted some dragons or magic or something. Haven't watched an episode since.

Clearly, the show isn't aimed at your age group.

how do he portray women as people?

in the show (IDK about the book) They are pretty in every background scene naked :T
User avatar #57 to #53 - pockyrin (07/12/2013) [-]
Well people get naked, having sex doesn't make you less of a person? I get what you mean you are thinking they are being objectified, I would say that most of the sex scenes have a plot point of two devious characters being involved or so. A lot of the women have great character growth and development, even if they were originally introduced to us naked.

am I the only one that doesn't like daeny in the show? I've heard she's a little more interesting in the books, but it seems like everybody loves her even though she's never done **** . She's always got that "I freed all these slaves, I'm awesome" mentality, and all she does is walk around, strip, and ocasionally say "hey maybe you guys should just stop being slaves" and everybody treats her like she's ******* god. Everybody just freed themselves, she's never even lifted a finger.
User avatar #27 to #19 - jcjohnson (07/12/2013) [-]
I dont like her really, I really hope she dont win the throne.
User avatar #1 - rikter (07/11/2013) [-]
This is most unorthodox, women as people. Don't be ludicrous.
(note to all tossers who read this and think they, being high and mighty, have some issues with this: I, that is to say me, was being sarcastic.)
