Why the **** is The Hunger Games still there? It's a rip-off of Battle Royale and it screams poor storytelling with painfully obvious plot points and characters with little to no personality.

your kidding right. have you read the books? yes it's like battle royale but it is extremely different. only the first book is like that. after that it starts becoming more based around the rebellion and not the games.

I tried my best to stay away from the books. All I heard was bad news from anyone who read it and after seeing the first film I decided that I'd made a great choice. I don't know if it was just the film that made it seem shoddy or not but it was extremely off-putting.

READ THE BOOKS there way better then the movie. the movie messed up on some huge and minor details making it bad. the books are better read them if you still don't like them then i will respect your opinion and will stop bugging you.

I apologise for being an ignorant douche. One question though, is the relationship between Katniss and Peeta so obvious in the book? Because that killed the film for me. After the moment I saw those two were going to be in the games I figured out the whole film.

In the book there is a lot of genuine hostility from Katniss; hell, she even reveals to him at the end that she'd been faking the whole time to improve her odds. The genuine relationship only really develops later on.

Oh thank **** for that! That seriously pissed me off. It was the most obvious plot hole I've seen. Well I'll get a pdf and if I like the book I'll go buy the rest. Thank you.
