1947-present:
Constantly moving arms up and down.

Thats alot of fapping.
Yes I understand the comic.

Sometimes, I start a "reaction pic you've never used" thread, for that very reason. I mean, how often am I going to come across an opportunity to use a Danny Phantom/Mario crossover reaction pic?

He got grey really quick..

If I remember correctly, in "Lois and Clark" they explain that his cells are much stronger and denser than the average human, cause Kryoptons gravitational field is 50-100 stronger than Earths. His mitochondria while being 50-100 times stronger and denser than the average human also absorbs specific wavelengths of electronic magnetic radiation from solar fusion (multiplied a thousand fold under a yellow a sun). The solar energy supplements respiration and the highly charged nature of it allows his immune system to deal with poisons, diseases, and exhaustion with ease and no ill effect. So technically, unless they put him in a room without any sunlight or any other form of interaction with solar fusion, he would not die or get exhausted for a very long time. While the timelapse could be large in the last few frames, the one I've posted to the left is inaccurate.

The Logical Conclusion.

#8 to #5 - hken (09/12/2013) [-]
How is it inaccurate? It does not say when this "present" is, so when you say "he would not get exhausted for a very long time" - he would still get exhausted after a given time period. Also, there is no proof that he has been "moving his arms up and down constantly" outside - it may as well have been inside a factory, or in a basement.

Therefore: your conclusion is wrong, due to the lack of the present facts.

User avatar #9 to #8 - elitehacker (09/12/2013) [-]
Well theoretically he wouldn't be able to keep the same speed if it wasn't outside. And if he is outside then he will most likely rejuvenate until the yellow sun turns red.

I said the logical conclusion but whatever. Take it how you want, it can neither be proven right or wrong with the given scenario and lack of facts.
#10 to #9 - hken (09/12/2013) [-]
That is true. And because Superman is a movie and not reality. So..

It was a nice comic though, showing the greediness of humanity. If one has a talent, you better be ready to give it up for the world.

User avatar #11 to #10 - elitehacker (09/12/2013) [-]
Yeah, but I find joy in pointing out flaws in things. It helps me keep consistency in the worlds I like to read about.

I agree it was a nice comic; I enjoyed it as well.
User avatar #14 to #5 - angelious (09/12/2013) [-]
actually as long as he has direct contact to sunlight he wont tire out or gain age at all(now than he has come to unlock his full potential) he doesnt need food neither to exist.

also cranking up that magnet should not be a big task for supes as he once moved around a similiar decide that was at the size of a moon.
User avatar #17 to #14 - snowshark (09/12/2013) [-]
Actually, it's more than that. You see, Superman is the most broken character in comics for a number of reasons, the biggest being that so long as he maintains regular contact with a yellow/blue sun he literally has no limits. He has towed planets before now (including the Earth) and unless you come at him with Cryptonie/Magic he is impervious to any form of harm, be it damage, exhaustion or ageing.

What is more, Superman is such a team-player that he would not only gladly do all of those things because of the astounding number of super-heroes that police the DC universe in his stead but he would also gladly come out and fist-fight with the toughest enemies man-to-man just to go right back to it.

He is the perfection of the super hero but in that perfection he is also the worst superhero, because of how immensely broken he is. Which makes him fairly unique as a hero, which is why I like him but not enough to watch movies of him or read the comics.
User avatar #18 to #17 - angelious (09/12/2013) [-]
"superman is the most broken character"

HAHAHAHA nope.

flash;can run infinite times faster than light(including backward and forward in time)

captain atom: without his limiters he can freely destroy and recreate universes to his liking and even the physically strongest version of superman(who also happened to be physically strongest being on the planet) could not harm him

doomsday:kryptonian psychiology and evolves above anything that kills him(wich includes supes)

lucifer: second strongest character in dc universe(enough said)

and these are just dc.marvel is even more broken as an universe than dc is(to speak the truth marvel is the strongest fictional universe ever created)(dc coming in second)

supes has ******** of weaknesses meanwhile beings like captain atom(without limiters) has none. he might seem like a broken but in real time he is not even mid level combatant in dc universe

The Endless are the most powerful DC comic book beings.
My favorite is Dream, but anyway just to give them the publicity they need, The Endless hands down are awesome.
User avatar #52 to #37 - angelious (09/13/2013) [-]
the endless are among the most powerfullest beings in the dc.

but they hold no real power to lucifer who:pretty much declared destiny had no hold of him, death had no hold of him,he could easily rip dream apart.

only one who was on par with lucifer was michael who died in combat againts lucifer.
User avatar #48 to #5 - bipolarprobe (09/12/2013) [-]
Well it does say 1947-present, it never states when the present is. However the premise of superman aging at all is inaccurate to what his character has become.
