When great white sharks meet seals in the open water, it can get pretty gruesome. This particular seal figured out a way to defy death and avoid becoming lunch.

By balancing on the shark’s nose, the seal managed to stay clear of the rows of sharp teeth and escape.
Photographer David Jenkins saw the events unfold from a tour boat off the coast of South Africa, and described the seal as “one lucky pup.”

They're both going back in the water. That seal better swim fast.

The force at which the shark would have hit the seal would still have killed or at least stunned it giving the shark time to eat it. I'm sorry to burst bubbles, and I don't like being "that" guy... So here's some classy dinosaurs by way of an apology.
