well a picture is worth 1000 words so assuming it's 30 fps for 8 minutes (8 X 60=480) so that 30 X 1000 X 480 which is a total of 14,400,000 words so no. but yeah twilight sucks.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
There are 24 pictures (frames) in one second of film (if it isn't The Hobbit).
Eight minutes is 480 seconds. That 11 520 pictures. Which gives us a total of 11 520 000 words.

The Twilight Saga, according to Yahoo! Answers, has 591 434 words.

The thing is, Twilight is not a love story. It has, in fact, all the components of an abusive relationship.
#46 to #28 - hamzaisawesome (12/24/2012) [-]
what's the fps of the hobbit?
User avatar #48 to #46 - galacticboner (12/24/2012) [-]
48fps, it's like uber-mega-HD.

Also, yes.
Vampires are dead, missy, dead people don't get no boners and don't have no sperm.
User avatar #33 to #32 - swampert (12/24/2012) [-]
I personally find the sparkling more annoying than anything else. you can have vampires that don't burn in the sun, but don't make them glitter instead
User avatar #37 to #33 - galacticboner (12/24/2012) [-]
I know right? But not everything is lost. Have you seen the swedish movie Let The Right One In?
User avatar #38 to #37 - swampert (12/24/2012) [-]
One of my all time favorite movies and books. The american remake while unneccesary was also quite good. When it gets right down to it the majority of vampire movies are pretty good to great. Unfortunatly Twilight kind of mars the whole concept
User avatar #39 to #38 - galacticboner (12/24/2012) [-]
I have not read the book and I have not seen the american remake, but the film is amazing.

User avatar #22 - playapplepie (12/24/2012) [-]
Wasn't it more of Pixar doing the actual writing of Up than Disney did? I do believe that Pixar does things seperately from Disney even though they are owned by the WDC.

Sorry, I'm a fact rag.
#27 to #22 - killingoffstars (12/24/2012) [-]
I think at this point in time pixar wasn't even owned by Disney. So yea it is Pixar that wrote it.
User avatar #88 to #27 - playapplepie (12/25/2012) [-]
The WDC bought Pixar from Apple in 2006 and I think Up came out in 2008. Either way, I still see Pixar as something separate.
#89 to #88 - killingoffstars (12/25/2012) [-]
Yea sorry i looked it up after i posted that and saw that they made UP in 09 but the were bought in 06.

User avatar #34 to #26 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
Why would you read the others if you didn't like the first one?
User avatar #40 to #34 - darkangeloffire (12/24/2012) [-]
You'd be surprised how useful the information is when arguing with people.
User avatar #65 to #40 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
So you read the books just so that you could say that they're bad?
User avatar #68 to #65 - darkangeloffire (12/24/2012) [-]
Well it's best to have evidence when making an argument. The mentality of "How do you know they're bad if you haven't read them?" comes into play. This way, I can back up my opinion by way of actual evidence.
User avatar #69 to #68 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
Couldn't you just not get into inane unwinnable arguments, like sane people do? You do realize that it is impossible to prove that a novel is bad?
User avatar #71 to #69 - darkangeloffire (12/24/2012) [-]
Well, I enjoy arguments every now and again. I never said I was sane.
User avatar #73 to #71 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
I also enjoy arguments, specifically more objective ones that don't require me to read trashy teenage girl novels.
User avatar #75 to #73 - darkangeloffire (12/24/2012) [-]
Also, the first movie was coming out and I decided to read the novels because it SEEMED interesting at first. then I realized it was **** .
User avatar #76 to #75 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
You didn't figure that out after reading the first one?
User avatar #77 to #76 - darkangeloffire (12/24/2012) [-]
I did after i read the first one. But like I said, best to go forward. And honestly, I should thank Stephanie Meyer. It was the ********** of her novels that inspired me to write my own. I'm not saying mine's better, but I just felt like putting my vampires out there. though the book has yet to see the light of day.
User avatar #78 to #77 - Jackimole (12/24/2012) [-]
I'm not sure this is a case of "best to go foreward".

User avatar #54 - maycontainallergys (12/24/2012) [-]
Actually when you think about that it actually took Disney-Pixar several days to draw and animate the storyboard for actually just the first 10 frames if i remember correctly

Then again they probably did it alot faster then the author of twilight...
