Do you think the northeast has the same infrastructure and prep for a hurricane equal to that of Florida?

If Floridians and Louisianans got 2 inches of snow, they would **** bricks, while nothing would happen in the north.

Other than Florida, the North is much better prepared than the South, mate. Plus, if it's a disaster, the Feds will actually give a **** and fix it, unlike the *********** that was New Orleans, because that's the "important" part of the country.

I like your revolutionary use of grammar.

I simply don't care. A category 1 hurricane is nothing, Kids can play outside in the eye wall during a cat 1.

If it's ******** prove me wrong.

Also you're really crafting radical uses of grammar. Quotes aren't used for summaries, they're used for exact quotes, but I suppose they only teach that once you've made it into the third grade.

if you looked at the ******* link I posted in the first place, you would see why I think its ********

I know it won't be written in a grammar textbook, but you (and that isn't half-unconscious) can tell that I was simplifying what you were saying and implying. I'm pretty sure only autistic people would have trouble grasping that idea

"you (and that isn't half-unconscious) can"

Now you're just throwing curve-balls at me, I legitimately have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

I looked at your post, doesn't change the fact that a Category 1 Hurricane is weak, no matter where you're from. All it did at my house was knock one branch off a tree.

ok I ****** up on that; I need to sleep. it's "and anyone that isn't..."

Areas around philly are wooded areas with countless power lines running through trees. Times where there is nothing but a thunderstorm have resulted in hours without power and days without telephones/internet in many neighborhoods.

Losing power can happen in a normal storm.

so what makes you think it will not have bad effects? Especially since we are barely at sea level and are expecting 6-10 inches of rain and 8ft of water rise

I dont know how you expect the ocean to rise 8 inches due to a hurricane..

6-10 inches of rain is nothing. Im LITERALLY at sea level and that wouldnt have any real impact on me/

October 2010, schools were cancelled because of 4 inches of rain due to people's homes and many roads being flooded (its very hilly here, the water gathers in some spots)

see pic for the 4-8 *foot* water rise
