I've downloaded entire discographies only because i heard 1 good song. The rest turned out to be crap.

I prefer the studio ones. Less crowd noise, more of the song

If a band sounds better on the CD than on stage, then they're not that good.

Because yelling fans, lack of quality recording equipment and the chance of bad acoustics have absolutely no affect on how a band sounds. Every band will always sound better when taped in a studio.

I was going to call OP a faggot and question his musician's ability to sing.

But today i'm going to be good guy reginleif and just say that yeah.....sometimes you want to hear studio and sometimes you want live. ^^

Have an awesome day, hope you find what you're looking for.

I don't know man, sometimes the live version of a song is better than the studio version. I actually prefer the Live version of Fear of the Dark to the studio one.

I thought the joke was going to be about how long it took to download the discography, demonstrated by how long the gif took to ******* load.

I don't mind the live recordings if I've already heard the original studio version first. Sometimes they switch it up when they perform it live and more times than not, the vocals aren't so fantastic.

There are some bands with famous songs that are absolutely horrible live in comparison to their studio work, in my opinion (i.e. Boston- "More Than A Feeling")

Huh? Crowd screaming? What happened to mixers? Can't they remove crowd screaming? I'm pretty sure they could back in 60's and 70's because I have ******** of live performances from bands like Cream, Hendrix, The Who, Deep Purple etc and some of them are better than studio recordings quality wise. Please some explain what happened to sound recording equipment.
