William Shockley, who helped with inventing the transistor, advocated eugenics. The transistor is a part of many electronics. Does that mean we all advocate eugenics?

The idea of eugenics wasn't bad per say, the mentally challenged and deformed don't breed so their kids won't be burdened by what their parents have. It was around for a while before Hitler gave it a really bad reputation.
