Americans vs Canadians. The tags say it all... You might want to start with "Hey I'm a lighthouse" rather than insisting "NO U". This is fake anyways, an aircraft carrier doesn't get dire it all

Why would the second largest ship in the US Fleet be near a lighthouse...

You might want to start with "Hey I'm a ******* lighthouse" rather than insisting "NO U".
This is fake anyways, an aircraft carrier doesn't get directions from a lighthouse. It has the most advanced navigation tech in the world. A lighthouse is meant to show boats with no equipment where the shoreline is by blinking.

Lighthouse lights don't blink..........they rotate 360 degrees
User avatar #80 to #44 - I Am Monkey (12/05/2012) [-]
They appear to blink because the light is rotating away from the observer.
Suffice to say they blink.
User avatar #89 to #80 - italianrambo (12/07/2012) [-]
fair enough
User avatar #11 - trevcars (12/05/2012) [-]
This gotta be fake... Wouldn't the first thing to come out of the Canadian be "This is a lighthouse" ?
#21 to #11 - ogloko (12/05/2012) [-]
and there would be like 45 "eh"s
User avatar #40 to #21 - derakus (12/05/2012) [-]

User avatar #13 - manofparody (12/05/2012) [-]
I've seen over 15 of these, all with different countries representing the two.
On several occassions, the lighthouse was the americans.
User avatar #60 to #13 - fkelly ONLINE (12/05/2012) [-]
I seen one with Austria as the lighthouse.

just thought you should know first off repost and it was a joke it was never real in the first place and the original joke was supposed to be a spanish lighthouse
User avatar #43 to #3 - kentravyon (12/05/2012) [-]
original is spanish?
FALSE: the oldest use of this joke was in a 2 line comic in a Canadian news paper in 1931, the joke was repeated and expanded upon over the following 8 decades
User avatar #79 to #43 - thebenders (12/05/2012) [-]

You don't know who I am yet?
User avatar #84 to #83 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
no, never really bothered to find out. I was thinking about printing out your username and posting it in a part of the school near the main doors and watch for someone to look at it and be like wtf? but i never bothered.
User avatar #85 to #84 - bahbumfuck (12/05/2012) [-]
Do it, I will reply on it.
User avatar #86 to #85 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]

User avatar #65 to #59 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
Thats kinda weird. You should investigate. It could be a conspiracy.

btw, do you know a guy named Michael Lambert by any chance?
User avatar #67 to #65 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
Yea i know him, I've been to St. Bernanrds, I've got a friend in Bay L'Argent that probably went to your school last year. Do you know Colton Synard by any chance?
User avatar #68 to #67 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
Awesome, Michael's my cousin haha.

And yeah, I know Colton, me and him used to have math together last year. We used to talk about The Walking Dead and stuff. He's in CONA now, right?
User avatar #69 to #68 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
Yup, Did you also know Dylan Murphy? He's a close friend of mine from Parkers Cove, he's good friends with Colton as well.
User avatar #70 to #69 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
I know who Dylan is, but I've never met or talked to him though.
I've seen him and Colton drive around down by where I live before, if that counts :P

What's your name, by the way? My name is Matthew Scott, if you're wondering.
User avatar #72 to #70 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
I see you know Cody and Blake as well.
User avatar #71 to #70 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
You May have seen me riding in the back.

Joseph Day, There is a chance that you know who I am, people seem to know me no matter where i go.
User avatar #73 to #71 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
The name sounds familiar, but I don't know you :/
(Not a big surprise, seeing as how I don't know that many people...)

Maybe you've commented on some of Colton's posts on Facebook? If you have, that would explain why you sound familiar.
User avatar #74 to #73 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
Yea that's possible.
User avatar #75 to #74 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
I have scouted you out on FB, Joey.

Do you mind if I send you a friend request? It's perfectly fine if you don't.
User avatar #76 to #75 - mummer (12/05/2012) [-]
go ahead I already found you as well.
User avatar #77 to #76 - itzzerohd (12/05/2012) [-]
Haha, this really is a small world.

It was cool meeting you Joseph, hope we can talk some other time, peace.

This is not a conversation between an american ship and a canadian lighthouse. It's actually taken from a conversation between an american ship and a spanish lighthouse.

#5 - anon (12/05/2012) [-]
seeing as how its a fake, its still the lighthouses fault. they should have said "this is a damn lighthouse. divert your course." not "hey...HEY! get out the way!"
#25 - bobebob (12/05/2012) [-]
This is also used for a Swedish advert for Silva, it was on TV here ages ago. ******* funny as **** first time i saw it, now its just a ****** repost.
User avatar #4 - jellybob (12/05/2012) [-]
I liked it better when it was a british ship to an irish lighthouse
User avatar #28 - Loppytaffy (12/05/2012) [-]
There is also a versian with an Irish lighthouse keeper.

But if it truly were a Canadian, he would have apologised for the inconvenience.
User avatar #8 - rolston (12/05/2012) [-]
Then the U.S still blew it up..... **** yea
