Not to be a Math Nazi, but the Fibonacci spiral only approximates the Golden Ratio, which is 1.618(...). Notice that 8/5 (1.6) is not equal to 5/3 (1.6667), which is neither the exact Golden Ratio nor a constant ratio in the Fibonacci Series.

For all of those who are confused; the Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers in which the next number in the sequence is the sum of the two numbers proceeding it. Ex: 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 5+3=8, and so on. When you arrange boxes with the same length and width as the number in the sequence it forms a sort of spiral shape that goes on and on forever. Then when you draw a line from the corners of the boxes it forms an almost perfect spiral.  (I'm only 16 so mathfags can correct me if I'm wrong)
