If you're going to use something as recent as people traveling to the ISS (which happens to take place after the end of the cold war and the space race), then you're also going to have to include the US's more recent space exploits. Including, but not limited to: Various Mars landings, the Hubble Space Telescope, the Voyager Probes, and various other space probes which are traveling such vast distances that they won't have reached their respective destinations for the next 10 or so years.

So if we're counting the ISS, then the Soviets lost the space race hard. Putting minority/underrepresented groups in space is completely irrelevant when compared to learning more about our solar system and even our universe.

Quality over quantity. Bringing a person to the moon and back safely was a MUCH greater achievement than all those because it is the first step in populating other planets. Those achievements are in no way bad, but the US's was better.

You know, this Song contributed significantally to my final descision to marry my gf.
At exact 5:05 she turned around to me bathed in sunlight, smiling at me.
And that was the moment when I was certain.
This Song will probably have a special meaning to me 5ever.

Because all my favs are scattered around on the other LPs, yes.
It is my fav album
I will probably frame it and praise it every day.

Would you have asked me three months ago my list would have consisted of Achilles Last Stand, Stairway To Heaven, Nobodys Fault But Mine and Kashmir etc.
But I listened to them a few hundred times too much.
Still amazing songs.
If people would look up the actual meaning of the word "epic", they wouldn't use it too often

So of course the UN would send the country with the biggest military at them.

I never argued with you about America in any way I just agreed with estonianpride but thank you for the opportunity:

I think the United States are to blame because Bush was the one who wanted to invade Iraq and persuaded UN countries to join him. Going back even further: In 1998 the United States came with the Iraq Liberation Act calling for regime change in Iraq. This made it official US foreign policy

Sorry I forgot to add that this contradicted the UN which was focused on weapons. The US was the one who convinced the UK to attack Iraq while many other countries were still unbiased. America played the lead role in convincing them. Then when the invasion came around Bush demanded Hussein to leave Iraq within 48 hours and surrender (but wasn't weapons what it was all about, apparently not?) but the US attacked only a day after the warning.

I don't think there's an organization in America that's funded more than the CIA, and if there is, I pretty sure the CIA will still be in the top 3.

Maybe there are a lot of "departments" that are more funded, like health and education when you consider ALL the public hospitals and schools. But for a single organization, the CIA is either #1 or in at least very close to the top.

As for the German intelligence... so? That's irrelevant. Germany has no control whatsoever over our government's decisions.

Anyway, I'm gonna go now.

Anon gotta fly.

I agree that we are not at fault alone, but regardless, we take MOST of the fault.

As for the informant, I don't know much about him beside what I read here in the comments, but if what is said is true, then this is the goddamn CIA.

They are probably the most funded organization in America, if not the world. And they use the word of 1 jackass, who might be making the whole thing up, as the evidence that a country has a serious arsenal of WMD's?!

Now that's just stupid.

I thought there were more government organizations which were more funded than the CIA. And apparently, that guy told the German intelligence agents that first.

I'm sorry, but who the **** are the UN's permanent members?

Russia, China, England, France, and AMERICA.

And from what I remember, it was us that was the biggest advocate for the war on Iraq. WE were the once that WANTED that war, the other 4 just "agreed" to allow it.

One can say that the blood is on all 5 members of the council, but there's damn well a whole lot more blood on our hands.
Sorry pal, the majority is right.

Deal with it :\

You're still missing the point. My point is it's not US' fault entirely. The other countries had plenty of power to stop it, but they didn't. And honestly, who could've predicted that eliminating Saddam would make it worse? And a primary problem is why did that informant lie to start a war? Shouldn't it also be his fault? No one ever blames him.

Well it sure seems this time the majority got it right.

I'm not very opinionated on the war on Iraq, but personally I don't see that our war on those people was justified in the slightest.

We screwed them over, and we screwed ourselves over with the money and soldiers we lost.

No, they haven't. My point is globalization. It allows crap like this to happen. And yes, going there is wrong, but the UN said it's okay to do it. They also put charges against Saddam for disregarding international laws.

What used to be the Soviet tactics is what the US use as tactics nowadays, just the Soviets have the balls to admit it.

The Cold War was actually the US and USSR laying their soft dicks on the table and arguing over which was bigger, while always being afraid of getting erect or else the world would be destroyed in a flood of semen.

At dinner, the other day, I was talking about what we were studying in History class and I mentioned the Cold War and my mom asked me to explain it to her because she never quite understood and being quite a History buff I get really excited when people ask me about this kind of stuff, but as soon as I was about to explain it to her my dad cleared his throat and said "oh, the cold war? wasn't that when Russia bombarded USA with fridges?"
I chocked on my food and it's not even that funny.

Well, when you show your small penis...you get laughed at.
When the U.S. or U.S.S.R. shows it's small penis.....you get blasted back to atoms.
