i'm confused. the advert for this shampoo showed a child with bubbles on their face and it clearly said 'no more tears'

I think it meant that because the child's hair wouldn't be torn that he wouldn't cry, and they used that as a sort of metaphor

I find that baby extremely similar to Tom Hanks.

No tears does mean no tears, as in no more crying. It is formulated less harshly in children's shampoo so it doesn't sting as much when the lather goes in the eyes, however if you smother it all over them eyes like crazy I'm pretty sure it won't have the desired effect.

**** that **** , why would they put an eye on it? That's so misleading.
#50 to #7 - anon (07/09/2013) [-]
they put an eye on it cause if you look at it on its side its supposed to look like a fish
#15 to #7 - anon (07/09/2013) [-]
So it looked like a fish in the wet bathing environment because it was for children and children like such things that remind them of toys and animals?

******** .

My shampoo as a child said "Inga tårar", which is Swedish for no tears (the eyeball kind, not the hair kind)

Alright now, let's examine this. We clearly see the kid wiping the shampoo over both his eyes and no "tears" were shown. We are clearly under false advertisement and should sue Lo'real for billions.

"And back, and to the left".

L'Oréal Kids Shampoo debut commercial (1997)

Sorry to be "that guy" but if you watch the commercials, you'll find that it really is tears as in crying.
