the money is tear proof, stick proof (makes counting multiple bills MUCH easier), water proof, can withstand flames to an extent, and the 100 dollar bills smell like maple. you dont need to really scratch them. i work at a bank, and when i have to count our 100s to make sure theyre all there, the scent of maple just fills your nostrils. we've also abandoned the use for pennies, and instead round off when paying for things with cash to the nearest 5 cent mark ( ex : 1.23$ is rounded to 1.25$, and 1.22$ is rounded to 1.20$)

we know how to do currency the right way.
#160 to #105 - thegrandexemplar (09/20/2013) [-]
wait what? stick proof? the twenties stick together like hell, its atrocious if ya wanna count em.
#308 to #105 - azinfoo (09/20/2013) [-]
But I heard that the Royal Canadian Mint said that they don't do anything to the bills to give them the scent of maple. So either they're lying bastards or the smell is just a placebo maybe.

In my algebra class, one of the kids was from Canada but our teacher refused to admit that Canada was real so he never called on him for anything, had other kids hand him back his assignments, basically denied he existed along with Canada.

The funny thing is it's true. Of course he had to talk to the kid if he had missing work he needed to turn in at the beginning or end of class, or if they needed help. But that's how it went, he was a really cool teacher actually, the kid thought it was pretty funny, and the other kids in the class talked to him a lot, so I'm sure it wasn't too bad.

Assuming you mean the U.S.? Our money is waterproof. I've swam with money in my bathing suit multiple times, never had a problem. It just takes longer to dry because our money is made from cotton fibers instead of polyccarbonate
User avatar #97 to #95 - snakefire (09/20/2013) [-]
But it tears up in the washing machine.

#121 to #95 - phreestuffpls (09/20/2013) [-]
Not waterproof just water-resistant. Like your phone, which means water will flow off and maybe drip off and/or dry according to the texture of the dollar, but it will still go through the small fibers which can cause it to become soft or, in a phones case could cause it to short circuit but after a few minutes maybe seconds it will be back dry. Waterproof means water does not function against, with, or for it. As in if I put a waterproof Ipad in the water I can use it as if it was not in water or in the U.S. money case if I put the canadian dollar in water it will not shrivel or even retain water when i pull it out. If American dollars get wet they... get wet, Canadian dollars do not get wet. You get it?

How is it possible for the U.S to drag you into war when you don't help or get involved in it at all?
#267 to #260 - nottatguy (09/20/2013) [-]
We do, we send our army and air force to the help.

Like, we've already offered our Air Force IF USA goes into Syria, which hopefully will not happen thanks to Putin (Amazing I say)

We were also in Iraq, still in Afghanistan, and we were in Kosovo aswell.
User avatar #340 to #260 - commontroll (09/20/2013) [-]
Actually dude, (and keep in mind this is a guy from Texas saying this) Canada does send troops, and they lose troops. They've got troops in Afghanistan even now, and they're highly trained and praised by US and Iraqi troops.

USA: "If you don't back us up in this war, Canada, we'll stop protecting your airspace with the mach 1 plane we stole from you after threatening to stop protecting you if you didn't stop making it and give us the prototype."

Canada: "Ok, then "

That on pretty much most conflicts the USA has to butt it's nose in
