Those tanks like your soldiers were ment to be destroyed.
Nice firepower, but not so good at taking hits.

If I remember right, he's probably referencing the massive tank battle That took place at Medina Ridge. U.S. Abrams MBTs and Bradley IFVs were combatting T-72Ms and other tanks the Iraq Republican Guard used. The Guard had a mass of 186 armored vehicles adding up Tanks and APCs alike. and 127 or so Armored vehicles. In which all were eliminated by the U.S. forces and only 4 Abrams MBTs were damaged, 0 destroyed.

Although the Abrams HEAVILY outclasses any Tank you'd find in Iraq, it's brothers in China and Britan sure hold a torch to it, we really cant be certain about it though, as they've never been put against eachother in combat, and if I'm right, the Abrams is the only one of Modern MBT's to be put in full warfare combat and proven it's worth, but thats my rough guess. Could be wrong about that.

I have my idea for tank warfare.
In urban situations, tanks are sitting ducks.
But in open field, it really depends mostly on the crew.

i know that tank and here its story
"During an early attack on Baghdad, one M1A1 was disabled by a recoilless rifle round that had penetrated the rear engine housing, and punctured a hole in the right rear fuel cell, causing fuel to leak onto the hot turbine engine.

After repeated attempts to extinguish the fire, the decision was made to destroy or remove any sensitive equipment. Oil and .50 caliber rounds were scattered in the interior, the ammunition doors were opened and several thermite grenades ignited inside. Another M1 then fired a HEAT round in order to ensure the destruction of the disabled tank.
