The Information may be lost (i.e. become inaccessible until we master black holes, which will probably take a VERY long time), but it is not destroyed. Energy can never be destroyed or created, it just changes into a different form.

I just felt the need to add that.

AGH I know I will probably get thumbed down like last time I said this but E=mc^2 is NOT the theory of relativity. E^2=m^2c^4+p^2c^2 is. p is the momentum of the object, so if the object isn't moving (as in no kinetic energy at all), then yes E=mc^2 but otherwise, it is that equation I said above.
Also there is no known "still" object, unless you are talking in a specific frame of reference such as looking at a sample of atoms, but even then there is most likely some kinetic energy going on.

CAN YOUR SCIENCE EXPLAIN THIS

Coulomb's law's explanation isn't right though, it's the same as gravity, just for electric charges.

Actually, mass that enters a black hole is not lost. Black holes emit radiation. Over time, as a black hole's mass is converted to radiation, it evaporates. So essentially, whatever goes in a black hole is slowly released back into the universe.

Whenever there's a Science based post on FJ everyone suddenly turns into physics major. Even when we know that you quickly looked it up before commenting.
