I...I don't get it. I'm in grade 11 and none of my teachers ever explained what pi was exactly. I get A's in math but I never, once actually knew what pi was and how he guy found it.


What if the circle was bigger? Would it still land on 3.142...?

if you look at the beginning of the gif, the units of space are defined by the diameter of the circle. All this is saying is that the circumference = Pi * diameter. Which i'm sure you already knew

So, yes, it would still hit 3.142 even if the circle were bigger. Cause the spaces would be bigger

OH! Now I got it. I didnt realise that the numbers weren't in inches or anything.
