it taste extremely good, but is also Lased to

Scientists recently discovered bacteria at the

They tan now use stem cells to regrow parts
of eyes for people who have had them
damaged, The process is fairly simple too,
Remo/ e a small portion of stem cells from the
patients good eye, place it on a sheet of
amniotic membrane anti the patients blood as
well as a solution of glucose insulin anti
The stem cells then anti
are ready to be onto the bad eye

Mike the Headless Chicken
inthis is Mike, the headless chicken anti his tale
r'. -began in 1945
Clara Olson, farmers wife had planned tan
preparing Mike to be a main toi_ Erse_. but first, her
husband have to kill it. Lloyd Olson reallies
his art anti makes a clean slice at the top of mikes
neak. Mike anti staggered just like most
decapitated chickens woi_ alti as a death response taf
nerves being still active, anti typically wears off in
mere miniutes,,, Not Mike though, he lived, This now
heartless chicken had managed to survive anti
returned to his full time job of being a chicken, The
reason behind magic Mikes survival is because
the art had missed the brain stem, whith
is in charge of the basic functions of life such as
heartbeat, eating, breathing, breeding anti other
aspects of basic survival,
Mike continued to live for 18 months before
eventually thiking on his own .

It doesn't even do that. The study was disproved. The bacteria may be able to tolerate arsenic but still needs phosphorus to survive.

The chicken's head was cut off, however, the brain stem was spared. The brain stem is responsible for very primitive survival features, such as walking, eating, etc.

Shame though, I heard they fed it with a straw down it's throat hole and in the end, Mike died by choking on a corn kernel.
User avatar #142 to #119 - xtremehivoltage (01/07/2013) [-]
Okay, I watched a documentary called "history of the chicken" (because I'ma bored **** ) and they interviewed Mike's keepers. He is fed by a dropper, like a chicken feed slurry mix they drop in his throat. They used a separate dropper to evacuate the mucus from it's throat. It died because one day they forgot to suck out the mucus and it choked to death.

The arsenic study was proved false. No, they don't breathe arsenic. That's wrong no matter what. Nor do they use it in place of phosphorus, for those of you who've actually read the study. The bacteria still need phosphorus. It can tolerate elevated levels of arsenic, but doesn't survive off of it.

All compounds of Vanadium are poisonous.
User avatar #91 to #80 - sonicg (01/07/2013) [-]
If I'm correct in my assessment, this only holds true to carbon based life forms.
#124 to #80 - anon (01/07/2013) [-]
well alcohol is a poison too, but its only dangerous when you have a lot. i think vanadium can be safe in the right amounts
User avatar #82 to #80 - waffies (01/07/2013) [-]
Poisonous does not guarantee deadly. Perhaps it's used to target specific things in the body to kill off?
