He actually did it, he wanted to create a beam of antimatter. Subsequently he also knocked out the power grid in his area.

Why can't Funnyjunk be obsessed with this guy instead of Degrasse? He's a ******* boss, and he's actually done something for science. (and he's not a dick)

how is degrasse a dick? degrasse has done plenty for science as an advocate, and kaku is a proponent of some weird stuff, hes a bit eccentric.

Only 2.3 MeV? That's like 3.69 x 10^-13 joules.

Climb a step. You just expended over a million times more energy than that.

What are you talking about only?

you're talking about the energy of accelerating EACH SINGLE electron by a 2.3 million volt electric field...

Which is mental, he said his house was barely able to support the amount of energy...

It annoys me when people try to be smart for no reason and just talk ******** .

That's the equivalent of charging it with 2 Million volts. That's per electron. I'm pretty sure that that's going to have a incredible velocity.
User avatar #31 to #11 - coolcalx (05/01/2013) [-]
yeah.. do you know the mass ratio of you vs an electron?

think about it, and then go sit in the shame corner.
#106 to #31 - Willhelm (05/02/2013) [-]
Huh. I seem to have 6.22 x 10^31 times the mass of one electron. Cool **** .

I weighed a little less than you when I started college. I started going to the gym, and have gained something like 10-15 pounds of muscle in the past year.

I eat way too much food, which is thankfully countered by my high metabolism. hopefully, I can get my eating habits under control before my metabolism slows down.

I have no idea why I'm rambling. whatevs. have a good day!
#116 to #114 - Willhelm (05/02/2013) [-]
Oh, bruh, I'm just ABOUT to start college! Starting to lift all now; benching a paltry 50lbs.

careful. I lifted too much when I first started, and now I have ******* stretch marks across my back because I gained muscle faster than my skin could grow.

I'm buff, but I have stretch marks like a pregnant woman. feelsbadman
