Myostatin treatments and drugs are being created to raise/lower muscle mass at will. It is currently in animal testing stages where lab mice have an increase of 40% muscle mass with little to no ill effects. This would actually help people with disease that weakens muscles and would be a healthy form of steroid. But myostatin blocks muscle growth by deciding how big a muscle can get, these would block it to create unrestricted muscle growth. Tests show that champion weight lifters have naturally low myostatin. Unfortunately this would also be used for super soldiers and abused by body builders.
