I say the rotary multi-barreled machine guns are not the best guns ever because they aren't exactly man-portable, requiring as many as twenty men to properly set up and fire them, and they have some problems like, in the case of a jam, they will sometimes tear themselves apart until spun down, or explode. I'd rather have reliable, man-portable automatic firepower.

It's on a mount, if you can't see that. The guns have far too much recoil to be fired off a mount, though there was a man-portable prototype, however, it's incredibly prone to jamming or breaking.
